    Abstract: A cavity-backed microstrip dipole antenna array is provided with a microstrip feeder network and a plurality of dipoles which are etched and formed on a single printed circuit board (PCB). Therefore, the structure is simple and inexpensive. Moreover, the antenna array can operate over a wider frequency bandwidth, and the thickness can be reduced to 0.1 of the wavelength of the transmitted/received signal.
