Expiry processing of such messages may be recipient or sender initiated, and may be based upon assigned Sender IDs or unique Message IDs. Previously received messages may be altered, deleted, or replaced by the sender or intermediary, and restrictions may be placed upon the capability to do so.

The front member may also include a fan or comfort elements for use as a footrest or cooling device.

A bumper system may have one or more rotatable members and/or non-rotatable members configured to protect a vessel or structure during docking maneuvers and mooring. The rotatable and non-rotatable members may be located at any one or more desired locations on the vessel and/or its mooring. In use, rotatable members are rotated from a first rotational position to a second rotational position. Various components of the bumper system may be configured to provide protection due to their compressibility, tiltability, flexibility and/or moveability. The connection between a rotatable member and its substrate may serve as an axis of rotation of the rotatable member, may be configured to include one or more mechanisms for rotating the rotatable member and may also include mechanisms for absorbing and/or dissipating the energy transmitted during physical interactions between vessels, and/or structures.

Abstract: A device for at least partially enclosing a desired length of cable. The device includes at least one member for operatively connecting to a substrate. A conduit located between the member and the substrate provides a passage for one or more cables. Fasteners may be used to secure the device to the substrate and one or more clasps may be located within the conduit for securing the cable in a desired position. Portals may be utilized for the passage of cables into or out of the conduit and adjoining lengths of device may be connected such that their conduits are continuous. The device may be used in place of traditional moldings and provides a safer and more aesthetically appealing alternative for the routing of cables, hoses, tubes, and similar objects. The device may also be configured to form a picture frame, light bar, art niche, or other structures, and may provide light to objects disposed therein.

Abstract: A load suspension system is disclosed, for suspending a load from a human body. The system includes a number of straps, certain of which will include elastic elements to provide a desired shock protection to the system. The elasticity of such elements may be limited by means of one or more range limiters. Padded sections are included at predetermined locations to provide greater comfort to a user, and attachment points are also included for connecting to a load, such as a tool belt, one or more tools, or apparel. Padded sections may include a gel component for greater comfort, and the various straps may also include accessory attachment points for reversibly connecting desired accessories to the system. A method of manufacturing a load suspension system is also disclosed.

In one variation, a coupler guide having at least one side panel configured to guide a coupler to a desired position with respect to a ball of a tow vehicle, also includes a top panel, rear panel, or intermediate panel. In one variation, the tow coupling system includes a coupler guide having at least one side panel which is configured such that a bottom side thereof will be positioned above an operatively connected ball. In one variation, the tow system includes an apparatus for operatively connecting a coupler to a ball of a tow vehicle, including a rod which is operatively connected to both the coupler and a vertical adjustment device which acts upon the rod to raise and lower the coupler. A tow coupling kit including both a coupler guide and an apparatus for connecting to a ball of a tow vehicle is also disclosed, as is a method of manufacturing a tow coupling system.

Sensors may be incorporated into the multifunctional dispenser to sense a quantity of items dispensed and/or remaining. The electronic components may be remotely operable. The multifunctional dispenser may also include a wireless transmitter and/or receiver for communicating with external electronic devices. The multifunctional dispenser may also be configured for the reversible connection of a predetermined multimedia medium such as a CD, DVD and/or flash memory device.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed that includes an expandable member operatively connected to a catheter or similar device and includes at least one passage configured to fluidly connect the interior of a vessel or other body cavity regardless of the expansion state of the expandable member. Passages may be disposed in the expandable member, the catheter, the interface between the catheter and expandable member and any combination thereof. Passages may be configured such that flow therethrough is restricted or prevented when the expandable member is in an unexpanded state. A balloon having at least one of the described passage configurations is also disclosed. Methods for manufacturing and using such an apparatus are also disclosed.
