  • Publication number: 20230379793
Abstract: Disclosed are methods for controlling downlink transmissions in an integrated access and backhaul network. An example method may include determining to control a first downlink transmission for a first interface between a second apparatus associated with a user plane of the central unit of the donor and a node in the integrated access and backhaul network, and transmitting, to the second apparatus, a first non UE-associated signaling request to control the first downlink transmission for the first interface, the first non UE-associated signaling request including information associated with the node. Related apparatuses and computer readable media are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230059284
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for facilitating explicit latency mode determination in beam switching. One method may include receiving, by a user equipment, at least one beam switch command from at least one network entity. The user equipment may further determine at least one latency and switching mode, and perform beam switch based on the at least one latency and switching mode.

  • Publication number: 20220078788
Abstract: An apparatus comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: receive (1302) a resource configuration for a first cell group link; receive (1304) a resource configuration for a second cell group link; determine (1306) a mode of operation; and determine a resource type for the first cell group link or the second cell group link based on the resource configuration for the first cell group link, the resource configuration for the second cell group link and the mode of operation.

  • Patent number: 9913248
Abstract: A method and apparatus can be configured to receive a first data from a first transmitter. The first data comprises data to be forwarded by the apparatus. The method may also include triggering a polling of a group of transmitting nodes. The triggering may be based on the received first data. The group of transmitting nodes may comprise nodes from which data is to be aggregated. The method may also include waiting for a period of time to receive a second data from a second transmitter of the group of transmitting nodes. The second data may comprise data to be forwarded by the apparatus. The first transmitter and the second transmitter may share communication resources to communicate with the apparatus. The method may also include aggregating the first data and the second data. The method may also include forwarding the aggregated data.

  • Publication number: 20140068307
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for power savings. In one aspect there is provided a method. The method may include sending, by a user equipment, an indication to a network, wherein the indication represents whether there is a preference for power savings at the user equipment; and performing, at the user equipment when the indication is sent, one or more actions to implement power savings at the user equipment. Related apparatus, systems, methods, and articles are also described.

  • Patent number: 6144340
Abstract: The invention relates to a radio system and a method of determining the transmission direction. The radio system comprises at least one base station communicating with terminals within its area by emitting a radiation pattern extending over the whole cell area and directional radiation patterns covering only part of the cell area. The base station transmits base-station-related information on a common control channel to the terminals. In the solution of the invention, the base-station-related information transmitted by the base station comprises a general part and a beam-specific part. The base station uses the radiation pattern extending over the whole cell area when transmitting the general part. Each beam-specific part is transmitted by using a specific radiation pattern.
