A method of manufacturing the battery module may include placing a bus-bar electrically connecting terminals of a plurality of battery cells, each of the terminals having a reflective portion on a top surface thereof, and the bus-bar having an opening exposing at least a portion of the reflective portion, and welding the bus-bar and the terminal to each other. The task of welding the bus bar may include irradiating a laser through the opening in the bus-bar.
