    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention may comprise: a housing including a hole formed therethrough; an earphone jack built in the housing such that an earphone plug is received therein through the hole; a gas sensor integrally formed with the earphone jack; a memory positioned inside the housing; and a processor positioned inside the housing and electrically connected with the earphone jack, the gas sensor, and the memory, wherein the memory stores instructions by which, when executed, the processor: controls the gas sensor to obtain data related to a specific component of the outside air; and causes the gas sensor to calculate a cleanliness level of the outside air on the basis of at least one of data obtained before a predetermined measurement disturbance element is generated and data obtained after the measurement disturbance element is removed.
