  • Publication number: 20070292684
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a process for preparing an antimicrobial elastic fiber. The process comprises: mixing a glass compound, as an antimicrobial agent, containing ZnO, SiO2, and an alkali metal oxide, and having an average particle size of 0.1 ?m to 5 ?m, with a dispersant; sand grinding or milling the mixture; and adding the ground or milled mixture to a solution of a segmented polyurethane polymer to prepare an elastic yarn. The process can provide advantageous effects that spinnability is improved and the color of yarn remains unchanged.

  • Publication number: 20070059523
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a process for preparing an elastic fiber having a high modulus and superior resistance to alkali and heat. The process comprises the steps of adding 1˜20% by weight of a cellulose acetate to a polyurethane or polyurethaneurea solution, based on the total weight of the polyurethane or polyurethaneurea, homogeneously stirring the mixture to obtain a spinning solution, and ripening and spinning the solution. According to the process, a high modulus and highly heat resistant elastic fiber can be prepared without a sudden change in conditions for preparation of the polymer.

  • Publication number: 20050210926
Abstract: A control panel assembly for a washing machine is provided. The control panel assembly is installed at a case of the washing machine so that a user can handle the washing machine. The control panel assembly includes a circuit board, a cover and a member. The circuit board includes a given area having one or more displays densely attached thereon. The cover is attached on a case of the washing machine so as to cover the circuit board, and includes one window for showing all of the displays. The member is configured to be detachable from the window to thereby divide the window into several areas. The control panel assembly may further include a member attached on the window to thereby divide the window into several areas or cover boundaries between the displays.
