    Abstract: A turbine blade is provided with a rotatable leading edge to reduce pressure loss as a flow direction of combustion gas varies. The turbine blade includes an airfoil including as separate bodies a trailing-edge portion and a leading-edge portion being linked to the trailing-edge portion and disposed upstream of the trailing-edge portion, the leading-edge portion including a front surface arranged on an upstream side of the leading-edge portion; and a rotary unit connected to the leading-edge portion and configured to rotate the leading-edge portion according to an inflow angle of the combustion gas such that the front surface faces a flow of the combustion gas. A barrier wall extends from a side surface of the leading-edge portion toward an open end of the trailing edge portion, and when the leading-edge portion is rotated, the bather wall portion prevents formation of a gap between the side surface and the open end.

    Abstract: A turbine blade for a gas turbine employs film cooling to enhance cooling performance. The turbine blade includes an outer surface; and at least one film cooling hole formed in the outer surface, each film cooling hole including a cooling channel extending inside the turbine blade to guide cooling air toward the outer surface, an outlet communicating with one end of the cooling channel to discharge cooling air to the outer surface, and a plurality of protrusions formed on an inside surface of the outlet and arranged along a longitudinal direction of the outlet. The protrusions protrude inwardly to a predetermined height from the inside surface of the outlet and extend from the cooling channel to the outer surface, in an arrangement of at least one protrusion formed on an inside wall of the outlet or on each of two opposing inside walls of the outlet.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein may be a sealing structure for turbines, and a turbine and a gas turbine having the sealing structure. The sealing structure is mounted on a sealing housing of a vane sealing assembly of the turbine to prevent combustion gas passing through a blade of the turbine from being drawn into an internal space between a disk of the turbine and the sealing housing. The sealing structure may include a mounting plate mounted to the sealing housing, and baffles which are provided on the mounting plate at positions spaced apart from each other and protrude toward the disk. Therefore, thanks to the sealing structure, turbulent currents are generated in the flow of combustion gas that passes through the turbine blade. The generated turbulent currents block space between the sealing structure and the turbine disk, thus preventing the combustion gas from flowing into the internal space.
