  • Publication number: 20050142373
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an oxygen-absorbing resin composition having a high oxygen absorbability and capable of absorbing oxygen for a long period of time. The present invention provides an oxygen-absorbing resin composition comprising polyolefin resin (A) obtained by polymerizing an olefin having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, resin (B) which is other than resin (A) and which acts as a trigger for the oxidation of resin (A), and transition metal catalyst (C), wherein resin (B) is dispersed in the matrix of resin (A) so that the oxidation reaction of matrix resin (A) is caused and thus oxygen is absorbed when the oxygen-absorbing resin composition is brought into contact with oxygen. This oxygen absorbing resin composition has a high oxygen absorbability and is advantageous in cost because oxygen is absorbed in resin (A).

  • Patent number: 6360678
Abstract: A method and apparatus for crushing waste gas cans between a pair of rotating rollers installed in a treatment chamber and removing the residual gas and residual liquid from the waste gas cans. The atmosphere in each of a waste gas can loading chamber, which is adjacent to the treatment chamber, the treatment chamber and a discharge chamber is replaced with an inert gas, thereby maintaining the oxygen concentration in the treatment chamber within a low range in which the residual gas will not burn explosively. Crushing of the waste gas cans is carried out while the oxygen concentration in the treatment chamber is within the low range. The pair of rotating rollers have two rotating shafts disposed approximately parallel to each other and sprocket wheels disposed on each rotating shaft at regular spacings.

  • Patent number: 5563103
Abstract: A semiconductor assembly is sandwiched by two metal molds so that the semiconductor assembly is located within a cavity formed between the metal molds. Thermoplastic resin is injected through an injection stream passage provided in one of the metal molds and directly leading to the cavity therein. Resin in the injection stream passage within one of the metal molds is heated to a temperature higher than a melting point of the themoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin injected into the cavity is cooled by the metal molds to be hardened.

  • Patent number: 5360649
Abstract: A thickness-reduced deep-draw-formed can obtained by using, as the substrate, a cold-rolled steel plate having a carbon content in the steel of 0.02 to 0.15% by weight, a manganese content in the steel of 0.2 to 1.0% by weight, a mean diameter of crystal grain of smaller than 6.0 .mu.m, a tensile strength over a range of from 35 to 55 kg/mm.sup.2, and a thickness of 0.17 to 0.30 mm in a step of subjecting an organic resin-coated structure of the surface-treated steel plate to the thickness-reducing deep-draw forming. This makes it possible to suppress the generation and accumulation of heat in the organic resin-coated steel plate to a level lower than the conventional levels. Therefore, the organic resin coating is prevented from being peeled off or damaged and, as a result, the corrosion resistance can be markedly improved.

  • Patent number: 5112695
Abstract: For the easily openable metal vessel lids openable by severing the scope with the aid of an opening piece, the formation of pinholes and/or cracks can be prevented, the corrosion resistance of the vessel lids as a whole (including the scored part) is improved, and the openability can be markedly improved by lessening the force required to open the vessel lids and, furthermore, feathering can be prevented by limiting the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio of the biaxially drawn polyester film provided onto at least the interior side of the vessel to within the range of from 4 to 17 and also by limiting the anisotropy index of in-plane crystal orientation to 30 or less.

  • Patent number: 4882964
Abstract: In a musical tone generator system, rhythm pattern data are read out from a rhythm pattern memory so that the formation of the tone signal specified by the rhythm pattern data is controlled by allocating the tone signal to one of the tone signal forming channels of a signal forming circuit, which is thus enabled to output from each of the tone signal forming channels the tone signal specified by the rhythm pattern data with the result that a sequence of tones is automatically generated in accordance with the rhythm pattern data. When any one of the tone select keys is activated, the formation of the tone signal corresponding to the tone designated by the activated tone select key is controlled by allocating the tone signal to one of the tone signal forming channels. The tone signal forming circuit is now enabled to form in and output from each of the tone signal forming channels a tone signal which corresponds to the tone designated by the activated tone select key.
