  • Patent number: 12240011
Abstract: A sliding device configured to perform a sliding process on a surface of an object to be slid includes a sliding part including sliding bodies each having a flat working surface; a first driving mechanism configured to regularly move the sliding bodies in parallel with the working surfaces of the sliding bodies; and a second driving mechanism configured to regularly move the sliding part in parallel with the working surfaces in a direction different from a moving direction by the first driving mechanism while the first driving mechanism moves the sliding bodies. This enables uniform supply of the sliding process material onto the surface of the object to be slid or clean the surface of the object to be slid.

  • Patent number: 9057682
Abstract: According to the embodiment, there is provided a blade vibration measuring apparatus, having, a contactless displacement sensor which outputs a displacement measurement signal as measuring a displacement of a turbine moving blade in a rotation axis direction, a blade top position identifying device which outputs a blade top position identification signal to identify a top position based on a distance between the contactless displacement sensor and the top position of the turbine moving blade as receiving the displacement measurement signal output from the contactless displacement sensor, and a blade vibration calculating device which calculates vibration amplitude and a vibration frequency of the turbine moving blade based on temporal variation of the distance between the contactless displacement sensor and the top position of the turbine moving blade as receiving the blade top position identification signal output from the blade top position identifying device.

  • Publication number: 20080042363
Abstract: Hydrogen gas is circulated to cool an electric rotating machine main body, and brush seals are provided to contact a predetermined position on the outer circumferential surface of a rotating shaft. As a result, contact of a sealing oil and the hydrogen gas, contact of a lubricating oil and the sealing oil in the bearing, and leakage of the hydrogen gas outside the machine are prevented.

  • Patent number: 4728418
Abstract: A novel process for the low-temperature depolymerization and liquefaction of coal wherein the coal is subjected to sequential processing steps for the cleavage of different types of intercluster lnikages during each processing step. A metal chloride catalyst is intercalated in finely crushed coal and the coal is partially depolymerized under mild hydrotreating conditions during the first processing step. In the second processing step the product from the first step is subjected to base-catalyzed depolymerization with an alcoholic solution of an alkali hydroxide, yielding an almost fully depolymerized coal, which is then hydroprocessed with a sulfided cobalt molybdenum catalyst in a third processing step to obtain a hydrocarbon oil as the final product.

  • Patent number: 4613044
Abstract: A compact disc case including lower and upper cases fixed by snap joints with enough space left in between for storing a compact disc. The lower case has at least three cushion holders to support the compact disc up above the bottom, and for preventing improper insertion of the case into a disc player, a control groove or a control shell is provided at least in either one of the upper and lower cases. The front edge wall of the lower case is provided with engagement holes, while the upper case has pawls to be engaged with the engagement holes, and also latches and latch locks engaging with each other are formed at the rear of the upper and lower cases. By means of this structure, the case with a compact disc in it can be inserted into a disc player for use without any improper insertion, and since the upper and lower cases can be readily detached from each other, the disc can be taken out and cleaned easily when the information-recording side gets dirty due to long periods of use or by accident.

  • Patent number: 4572082
Abstract: A thermal decomposition furnace in which waste tires having original shape, not broken up, can be laid horizontally and be thermally decomposed. The furnace is constructed by providing a feeder above, forming downward a fluidized bed-forming section having inlets for air, forming beneath a sealing bed-forming section of right cylindrical shape having a diameter smaller than that of fluidized bed-forming section, and installing a conveyor below said sealing bed-forming section. At the lower end of sealing bed-forming section, an oblique opening is formed so as to keep an progressively increasing clearance to the conveyor in the direction of advance of conveyor.
