  • Patent number: 7806431
Abstract: An airbag for a front passenger's seat includes a left outer panel, right outer panel, left inner panel and right inner panel. The left and right outer panels are prepared as laterally symmetrical separate entities. Each of the left and right inner panels includes at the upper front end at full inflation a crossing edge that extends in a transverse direction on the airbag at full inflation. Each of the left and right outer panels includes at the upper periphery a central extended region that includes a joint edge for joint with the crossing edge of each of the inner panels. • Patent number: 7654568
Abstract: An airbag for a front passenger's seat internally includes a communication port defined by an inner joint that joins inner circumferential edges of a pair of inner panels. The airbag includes at a rear side a recess and a pair of raised regions. The airbag further includes a contact portion where outer surfaces of the inner panels are in face-to-face contact proximate the circumference of the communication port at full inflation. The contact portion is created and maintained by an inner pressure of the airbag at full inflation that acts on the panels of the airbag, and is not formed if the inner pressure is less than that at full inflation of the airbag.

  • Patent number: 7240918
Abstract: An airbag includes a fabric forming the airbag. The fabric has a vent hole for discharging some of gas introduced into the airbag to the outside. The vent hole is located at a position where the vent hole is not blocked when the airbag protects an occupant. This smoothly discharges gas, thereby improving the occupant protection performance.

  • Publication number: 20020101066
Abstract: An air bag for a head protection air bag system has an air bag main body and an inner tube disposed along an upper edge side within the air bag main body. The inner tube has supply ports which are made to open on a lower side of a circumferential wall thereof for supplying the inflating gas into the air bag main body, and the supply ports are disposed in such a manner as to be made to open downwardly at a substantially transverse center of the folded air bag main body when the air bag main body has been folded up. At least the supply port of the inner tube disposed in the vicinity of the inflator is offset closer to the inflator side than the transverse center of an inlet port portion communicating with the supply port.

  • Patent number: 5968705
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a process for producing stably a polymerized toner having excellent balance of shelf stability and fixability, and high resolution visible image formation. The process for producing a polymerized toner comprising a step of raising the temperature of an aqueous dispersion of monomer composition comprising a colorant, a polymerization initiator such as t-butyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate and a polymerizable monomer component such as styrene to a temperature lower than a target polymerization temperature by about 10 to about 40.degree. C., a step of raising the temperature of the dispersion at the rate of about 1 to about 20.degree. C. an hour to a temperature lower than the target polymerization temperature by about 5.degree. C., and a step of raising the temperature of the dispersion at the rate of about 3 to about 10.degree. C. an hour to the target polymerization temperature, whereby the polymerizable monomer component is polymerized.

  • Patent number: 5945184
Abstract: An air bag has an air bag main body and a sheet. The air bag main body is formed into such a sac like shape as having a circumferential wall portion that extends in a sleeve-like form from a peripheral edge of an opening and a bottom wall portion that closes the circumferential wall portion. The sheet is arranged so as to extend from the peripheral edge of the opening to the bottom wall portion via the circumferential wall portion in such a manner that the air bag main body is split into two parts, and the sheet has a communicating hole. The sheet in sewn only to a portion of the peripheral edge of the opening in the circumferential wall portion and to a portion of the bottom wall portion.

  • Patent number: 4912712
Abstract: A fault detection circuit comprises an LRU memory having a series of bit storage cells for storing data bits therein, the stored bits indicating relationships between most recently referenced timings for each of address levels. Updating input data bits are generated by an LRU updated logic in response to the LRU memory being accessed from an external source and applying the generated updating input data bits to the LRU memory to cause same to generate updated output data bits. One of the updating input data bits is inverted prior to application to the LRU memory. An error detection circuit is responsive to the updated output data bits for detecting an error therein. One of the updated output data bits corresponding in binary significant position to the inverted updating input data bit is inverted prior to application to the error detection circuit.
