  • Patent number: 8932723
Abstract: Provided is low emissivity glass including a low emissivity layer containing electrically conductive metal; and a composite metal oxide formed on one or both sides of the low emissivity layer and expressed by a following chemical formula 1: TiCeOx??(1) wherein Ti is titanium element, Ce is cerium element, and Ox is oxide. Since the dielectric layer which serves as protecting low emissivity layer of low emissivity glass and reducing emissivity contains the composite metal oxide expressed by the above chemical formula 1, visible light transmissivity can be greatly increased with excellent low emissivity.

  • Patent number: 8722210
Abstract: The present invention relates to low emissivity glass and to a method for manufacturing the same. The low emissivity glass comprises: a low emissivity layer; and a dielectric layer formed on the low emissivity layer, wherein the glass has an emissivity of 0.01 to 0.3 and a visible transmittance of 70% or more. According to the present invention, low emissivity glass having good emissive performance while also exhibiting high visible transmittance can be provided. Further, according to the present invention, the manufacturing process for the above-described low emissivity glass can be simplified, and initial investment amount can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20130142995
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of improving hydrophilicity of a coating layer through surface morphology treatment and a super-hydrophilic glass coating layer produced using the same. The method includes forming a photocatalyst layer on a substrate; and heating the substrate having the photocatalyst layer formed thereon to a temperature of 500° C. to 600° C. to perform post-heat treatment, and increasing surface roughness of the photocatalyst layer. The photocatalyst layer has a surface contact angle of 30 degrees or less.
