Patent number: 12283750Abstract: A multi band antenna system for transmission and reception of electromagnetic signals in a low-profile dual reflector configuration with position-controlled main-reflector, and fixed sub-reflector and feed horn. An added linear slide of the main-reflector with respect to the sub-reflector synchronized with variable tilt angle of the main-reflector for compensation for the varied focal length in the main-reflector to the beam due the varied main-reflector tilt. The system achieves a beam elevation of 10° to 100° (full elevation), minimum gain variations over the full elevation travel, swept volume as per ARINC 791 (e.g. Boeing Radome or Airbus Radome), and can be used to meet wide-Tx/Rx bands requirements.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2019Date of Patent: April 22, 2025Assignee: ORBIT COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS LTD.Inventors: Guy Naym, Ladislav Rudminsky, Alon Leib, Binyamin Laufer, Hanan Keren, Itzik Krepner, Ilan Halevi

Patent number: 7058056Abstract: A method, a device and a system for delay equalizing of fragment data streams transmitted via N individual paths and forming a virtual data stream, wherein the virtual data stream and each of said fragment data streams consisting of data frames; the method including gradual minimization of differential delay of the fragment data streams at one or more intermediate points between a source point and a destination point of the virtual data stream. The gradual minimization of the differential delay can be provided by devices (30, 32) respectively fitted at the intermediate points; each of the devices comprises a control unit (36) and N memory buffer blocks (34), each associated with a respective individual path.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2001Date of Patent: June 6, 2006Assignee: ECI Telecom Ltd.Inventors: Eitan Yehuda, Eyal Shaked, Ilan Halevi

Patent number: 7046429Abstract: There is proposed a method and a module for real time control of power per optical channel in a multi-channel optical communication line formed by a group of optical elements connected in a chain by fiber spans. The group of elements comprises one or more optical fiber amplifiers (OFA); each of the spans is characterized by its span loss, while each of the OFA is characterized by its gain and its designed output power per channel. The method comprises steps of calculating an expected total input power value (EIP) for a particular optical amplifier (OFA) in the line, measuring a real total input power (MIP) at the particular optical amplifier, and comparing the values. If a difference between the EIP and the MIP at the OFA exceeds a predetermined value, the method (and the module) ensures adjusting the gain of the OFA to maintain its output power per channel constant.Type: GrantFiled: June 16, 2003Date of Patent: May 16, 2006Assignee: ECI Telecom Ltd.Inventors: Ilan Halevi, Tsvi Sivan, Mordechay Tuby, David Harris

Patent number: 6966881Abstract: A system for measuring dilation of a cervix of a uterus of a female during the first stage of labor, including an expandable gripping arrangement having two oppositely facing gripping members configured, such that, the gripping arrangement grips the dilating cervix. The system also includes a first elongated element having a calibrated scale disposed thereon and a second elongated element. A part of the second elongated element is disposed along the calibrated scale. The part of the second elongated element has an indicator disposed thereon. The first and second elongated element are mechanically connected to the gripping arrangement, in a manner such that, as the gripping arrangement expands with the dilating cervix, relative linear movement is generated between the first and second elongated elements, thereby moving the indicator with respect to the calibrated scale so as to give a measurement of dilation of the cervix.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2003Date of Patent: November 22, 2005Inventors: Miki Ben-Cnaan, Ilan Halevi, Barak Halevi

Patent number: 6904438Abstract: There is proposed a technique for counting channels at a node of a multi-channel optical network, where the node is connected to a following node and a preceding node by an optical communication line carrying a plurality of information optical channels. The technique comprises exchanging of information structures between the nodes, such that each of the information structures specifies particular optical information channels which are currently in use at a predetermined network section or node.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2001Date of Patent: June 7, 2005Assignee: ECI Telecom Ltd.Inventors: David Harris, Ilan Halevi

Patent number: 6735736Abstract: A method for preventing errors in transmission of a telecommunication signal via a network domain, involves transmitting the signal as a succession of binary data frames via two border points in the network domain, and each of the frames comprises a parity array of bits assigned for parity check and a temporary use array of bits assigned to serve at least one temporary data channel between the two border points. The method comprises a) transmitting, via the temporary data channel, additional information between the two border points with performing operation of parity compensation at each of the border points, in the parity array of each of the binary frames, b) obtaining an external command to cease transmission of the additional information via the temporary data channel, and c) executing the external command with performing a procedure of the temporary channels compensation at the border points.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2001Date of Patent: May 11, 2004Assignee: ECI Telecom Ltd.Inventors: Eli Korall, Ilan Halevi
