  • Patent number: 9727712
Abstract: A method for requiring justifications for predetermined user operations may include maintaining a plurality of policies in a policy store, and detecting a user operation, via a policy module, that triggers a policy of the plurality of policies. The method may also include pausing user operation, notifying the user of the impact of the user operation that triggered the policy, and requesting justification from the user for the user operation. The method may further include storing user-provided justification in a predetermined location, and then resuming the user operation.

  • Patent number: 9575633
Abstract: Providing a user interface utility across service providers includes determining an active service associated with a particular service provider from a plurality of predetermined related services associated with respective service providers stored in a memory. A utility corresponding to the plurality of predetermined related services is formatted for display on a display device, and a function selected in the utility for the active service associated with the particular service provider is executed. The function is common to each of the plurality of predetermined related services. The same utility is displayed for each of the plurality of predetermined related services associated with respective service providers, which are different from each other.

  • Publication number: 20160357890
Abstract: A verification log analyzer graphically represents a log file generated from a simulation. The log analyzer depicts the log file visually and/or graphically, for example, in the form of a bar graph or timeline. The bar graph can include one axis (e.g., the x-axis) that represents the time of the simulation, with various events/messages displayed as graphics along the timeline. The timeline can include a series of bars, boxes, icons, images, or other identifiers that represent messages from the verification log. The log analyzer can expand, collapse, zoom in, and zoom out on the graphical log file. The log analyzer can also add, remove, or restrict information provided by the graphical log file.

  • Patent number: 9424341
Abstract: Management of information includes analyzing an inquiry with a language processor, and generating a keyword associated with the inquiry based on the analysis. Further, it may be determined whether an inquiry with the generated keyword previously has been received and stored in a memory and, when it is determined that such an inquiry previously has been received, the inquiry is retrieved from the memory. A recipient of the inquiry is assigned based on an inputted recipient or the keyword, and a recipient of an answer to the inquiry is designated. The inquiry is transmitted to the assigned recipient of the inquiry. An answer to the inquiry is received, the inquiry is marked as answered, and the answer is transmitted to the designated recipient of the answer. The inquiry, the keyword associated with the inquiry, and the answer to the inquiry are stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 7190518
Abstract: The present invention relates in general to systems for and methods of three-dimensional viewing of displays and projections. One embodiment two layers (50, 90) are uniform polarizing filters and a birefringent layer with individually switchable elements (60) is sandwiched between them. Together these layers (50, 60, 90) constitute a parallax layer (40). This parallax layer (40) is located at a certain distance from a display (10). This placement, and the existence of opaque areas on the parallax layer (40) which permits to a viewer see a three-dimensional image. The individual elements (601–615) of the birefringent layer (60) are controlled by a control element (80), which is in communication with a head-tracking sensor (85). This allows the individual elements (601–615) of the birefringent layer (60) to be selectively turned on and off according to the position of the viewer's head.
