Abstract: A method of treating lice includes the steps of: (a) blending a treatment mixture; (b) applying the treatment mixture to a scalp or hair; and (c) applying a first shampoo to the scalp or the hair. The treatment mixture used in this method may contain olive oil and dimethicone. The lice treatment mixture may further contain between about 2 and 6 drops of rosemary oil. In yet another embodiment the lice treatment mixture may still further contain at least one of the following ingredients: beeswax, vitamin E, citronella oil, tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, mint oil, coconut oil, peppermint oil, and lavender oil.
