    Abstract: A method for providing management of measurement reports after a cell handover may include receiving, at a source cell, an indication that a handover of a mobile terminal is to be conducted from the source cell to a target cell, causing provision of information indicative of a measurement configuration employed by the mobile terminal with respect to the source cell to the target cell in which the measurement configuration is descriptive of reports for communication parameters measured at the mobile terminal based on transmissions associated with the source cell, and directing communication of a continuity indicator to the mobile terminal to indicate to the mobile terminal whether to continue providing measurement information to the target cell based on the measurement configuration. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.

The predefined threshold connection quality condition may be indicative of potential inter-cell interference from a cell located within a coverage area of the serving cell. In an instance in which it is determined that the predefined threshold connection quality condition has been satisfied, the method may additionally include causing a report indicating that the predefined threshold connection quality condition has been satisfied to be sent to a network node associated with the serving cell.
