A metal frame on the interior of the second substrate is placed over the inner epoxy seal pattern on the first substrate and has a width greater than the width of the epoxy seal pattern, which improves the mechanical strength and appearance of the resulting package.

Abstract: An organic light emitting display device including a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a display unit, which is formed on a surface of the first substrate facing the second substrate and includes at least one organic light-emitting element; a sealing unit, which is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and outside the display unit; an organic pattern unit, which is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate along inner edges of the sealing unit; and a metal pattern unit, which is formed on a surface of the second substrate opposite a surface facing the first substrate. The metal pattern unit covers the organic pattern unit outside the display unit and inside the sealing unit, and a width of the metal pattern unit is equal to or greater than a width of the organic pattern unit.
