  • Patent number: 11037385
Abstract: A system and method enable unlocking a locking device by controlling transmission of an access key. A server receives a location signal from a locking device. The location signal provides a confirmation generated by the locking device that the locking device is at a location associated with the recipient. In response to receiving the location signal confirming that the locking device is at the location associated with the recipient, the server triggers relay of an access key for unlocking the locking device.

  • Patent number: 10636233
Abstract: A system and method for a handshake authenticated coded locked container are provided. In example embodiments, a digitally encoded lock mechanism that is used by a sender to lock a container before shipping is determined. An access key is received from the recipient that receives the container. An authentication process is performed that determines whether the access key triggers the unlocking of the container. Based on a determination that the access key triggers the unlocking of the container, instructions are provided to unlock the container.

  • Publication number: 20160063433
Abstract: A system and method for a shipment data logger are described. The shipment data logger receives shipping condition parameters and instructions and generates generate shipping handling data based on sensors in the shipment data logger. The shipment data logger is configured to provide authorized access to the shipping handling data. The shipping handling data is analyzed relative to the shipping condition parameters to generate a delivery recommendation.

  • Publication number: 20140324725
Abstract: In an example embodiment, location information is received from a plurality of mobile devices operated by on-duty valets. An online order for local delivery of an item to a consumer is received. A current location of the consumer is determined. A store having a least transit time from the current location of the consumer that has the item in stock is determined. Then, a valet having a least transit time to the determined store is determined. A job may be assigned to the valet having the least transit time to the determined store.

  • Publication number: 20140297470
Abstract: Systems and methods to deliver goods to a buyer that is dynamically located are described. The system communicates a user interface to a device that is identified as being located at a first location and associated with a customer. The user interface includes items that are identified as being located within a predetermined distance from the device. The system receives an order from the device that authorizes the purchase of an item and delivery of the item to the customer. The system automatically selects a courier from a plurality of couriers that are identified as being located at different locations. The system communicates a user interface to a courier mobile device that includes instructions to enable the courier to retrieve the item from a second location and deliver the item to the first location.
