Patent number: 8251273Abstract: A continuous cap feed mechanism for use with fastener driving device includes a housing for receiving a coiled strip of interconnected caps removably mounted the fastener driving device. The housing includes a passageway for guiding the strip of caps from the coil to a position beneath a fastener to be driven by the fastener driving device and an advancing mechanism for moving the leading cap on said strip from the passage to the position beneath the fastener to be driven after the fastener driving device drives a prior fastener into a cap and as it is moved away from the previously driven fastener. The advancing mechanism includes a driver movably mounted in the housing for movement between an extended and retracted position adjacent the location on the fastener driving device at which the fastener driving device drives fasteners.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2010Date of Patent: August 28, 2012Assignee: Arrow Fastener Co., LLCInventor: Ilya Shor

Patent number: 7815089Abstract: A fastener gun includes a housing having a plunger and a power spring for driving a fastener into a workpiece, and a trigger arm pivotally attached to the housing at a trigger pivot. One end of the trigger arm lifts the plunger to bias the power spring when the trigger arm pivots in a first direction toward the housing. A member contacting the trigger arm is provided that moves away from the trigger pivot as the handle moves toward the housing, so that force is applied at different locations on the trigger arm when the handle is squeezed, increasing the mechanical advantage of using the fastener gun.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2008Date of Patent: October 19, 2010Assignee: Arrow Fastener Co., LLC.Inventor: Ilya Shor

Patent number: 7097088Abstract: A forward acting stapler includes a unique linkage for driving a firing lever. The linkage includes two links that are each connected to the trigger lever by a roller. The roller is movable within a spot in the trigger lever. As the handle is driven, the two links cause the triggering level to pivot. As the trigger lever pivots it lifts a plunger against a spring force. At some point, the trigger portion releases the plunger allowing the plunger to be returned by the spring force by a staple.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2004Date of Patent: August 29, 2006Assignee: Arrow Fastener Co., Inc.Inventor: Ilya Shor
