  • Patent number: 11903339
Abstract: The cutting head assembly object of the present invention comprises a trimmer line feed mechanism and a trimmer line winding mechanism. A lower cover member coupled to the housing member and has a central opening to hold a ground engaging button member. The ground engaging button member is rotationally engaged to the spool and a lower cover. The upper section of the ground engaging button member and the internal walls of the cover ring have radially and axially extending structures which cooperate with each other to provide a ratcheting and indexing mechanisms that allows controlled rotation of the spool which is constrained from axial movement relative to the head enclosure by biasing the force of a compression spring which also maintains the ground engaging member in an extended position.

  • Publication number: 20220106788
Abstract: A hold down clip for retaining one or more ceiling panels on lower flanges of a suspended ceiling tee and allowing removal of the ceiling panels from below after installation. The hold down clip includes at least one outward curved section with a crest between an upper end and a lower end. The clip elastically deforms to produce reactive spring forces when a ceiling panel engages a contact point below the crest of the outward curved section. The clip also includes at least one continuously formed latching section, which may extend from the upper end, lower end, or a transition point below the crest of the outward curved section. The latching section engages the grid tee to generate the spring force. Alternatively, the clip includes a fastener secured to the at least one outward curved section. The fastener is configured for threaded attachment to a receptacle of the grid tee.

  • Patent number: 9856666
Abstract: The present invention consist of an improved and very compact hand held pool debris removal system using a hydrodynamic water circulation device capable of producing significant water flow through a conduit. Such water flow is then used to lift and convey debris from bodies of water such as fountains, ponds and swimming pools. The device operates by creating a high speed water jet curtain using an external source of energy by means of pressurized water, which impinges on an steady body of water transforming the energy provided by the external water source into a strong flow capable of lifting and conveying light and heavy debris from the floor of bodies of water and forcing these debris into a fine mesh filter for retention and later disposal.

  • Publication number: 20110247601
Abstract: A two-cycle engine including exhaust, air inlet, scavenging and air/fuel intake windows disposed in the cylinder wall, a reciprocating piston driving a crankshaft, and curved gas-conveying channels connecting the crankcase chamber with the cylinder bore, the channels being opened by the reciprocating piston and the channels producing centrifugation of gases circulating therein to produce lean and rich components of an air/fuel mixture, wherein the lean component is circulated in a region of the combustion chamber remote from the exhaust window for promoting reduced combustion residues.

  • Patent number: 6564760
Abstract: A compact low emission, two-cycle, crankcase scavenged, spark ignited internal combustion engine with stratified scavenging is provided. The two-cycle engine including a cylinder block containing scavenging ports and a fresh air supply port. Said scavenging ports are formed as a blind pocket inside the cylinder walls. A piston having passages for alternatively communicating the transfer ports with the fresh air intake port and with a crankcase chamber in unison with the engine. By this method, the air trapped into the piston chambers creates an air mass, which is used as a buffer to evacuate the residual gases out of the cylinder chamber. This stratified “air head” substantially reduces raw fuel losses through the exhaust port, therefore, HC emissions are greatly reduced and fuel economy is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 6216649
Abstract: A low emission two-cycle internal combustion engine for powering a portable tool is provided. The two-cycle engine comprising a cylinder block containing two parallel cylinders adjacent to each other receiving two reciprocating pistons. One cylinder in cooperation with the power piston, operates as the power source. The second cylinder in cooperation with the slave piston, operates as a volumetric fuel pumping system. Both cylinders centerlines lying in a plane perpendicular to a crankshaft. The cylinder block is disposed over an engine block containing the crankshaft and a crankcase. The two pistons are connected by a connecting rod to a common crankpin. The kinematics of this engine leads to a considerable advance of the slave piston in relation to the power piston, resulting in a significant higher pressure within the pump cylinder than into the power cylinder during the compression period. The combustion gasses are evacuated by pure air compressed into the crankcase through the scavenging ports.
