Abstract: A user device and controller are provided for controlling operation of an appliance. A user selects an operating program for the appliance via the user device. The user device retrieves the selected operating program and transmits it to the controller, which is a controller of the appliance. In response to receiving the operating program, the controller stores the operating program in a data storage of the appliance and causes the stored program to be executed by the appliance. Upon completion of the execution, the operating program is deleted from the data storage of the appliance.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating a design contest between clients and designers are provided. A client can provide a profile of a new design job. The design job can be published for bidding from designers. The bids can be received and ranked according to the preferences of the client. A prize can be awarded to winning designers. The client can receive the winning designs and use them to complete the new design job.
