Abstract: Disclosed are a fluidized bed water gas shift membrane reactor and a method for separating carbon dioxide using the same. More specifically, disclosed are a fluidized bed water gas shift membrane reactor provided on the back of a gasification reactor to produce a synthetic gas consisting of hydrogen and carbon monoxide by reaction of a solid hydrocarbon with water or oxygen, wherein the carbon monoxide present in an amount of 40 to 70 vol % in the synthesis gas reacts with steam in the presence of a catalyst to produce a mix gas of hydrogen and carbon dioxide, and the hydrogen is selectively isolated from the mix gas through a Pb—Cu shift membrane to increase the concentration of carbon dioxide present in the mix gas and separate the carbon dioxide, and a method for separating carbon dioxide using the same.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention generally include shield frame assembly for use with a showerhead assembly, and a showerhead assembly having a shield frame assembly that includes an insulator that tightly fits around the perimeter of a showerhead in a vacuum processing chamber. In one embodiment, a showerhead assembly includes a gas distribution plate and a multi-piece frame assembly that circumscribes a perimeter edge of the gas distribution plate. The multi-piece frame assembly allows for expansion of the gas distribution plate without creating gaps which may lead to arcing. In other embodiments, the insulator is positioned to be have the electric fields concentrated at the perimeter of the gas distribution plate located therein, thereby reducing arcing potential.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a carrier cup of a planet carrier that improves strength thereof and reduces noise occurring in an automatic transmission by changing an interior circumferential shape of a leg. The carrier cup of a planet carrier according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention at which pinion gears are mounted such that the pinion gears are rotatably supported thereby may include a carrier plate provided with a carrier hole for mounting a carrier shaft and a plurality of pinion holes for mounting the pinion gears, and a plurality of legs extending perpendicularly from one side surface of the carrier plate, wherein radial thickness of the leg is changed along a circumferential direction thereof.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a vertical handoff method. According to the present invention, a serving network of a mobile station is determined. Herein, the mobile station that can access a first network having relatively wide service coverage and a second network having relatively narrow service coverage in an area where service coverages of heterogeneous networks are overlapped. When accessing the serving network of the first network, it is determined whether a received signal strength received from the second network is greater than a first threshold value. In addition, a first vertical handoff is decided by using a result of prediction of a transition pattern of the received signal strength that is greater than the first threshold value. When the serving network is the second network, it is determined whether the received signal strength received from the second network is less than a second threshold value.

Abstract: A fabrication method of a liquid crystal display device uses a printing method which forms a pattern of a wider effective line width such as a gate line, a data line, a passivation layer, a pixel electrode, etc. constituting an LCD device. The inventive lithography process uses a mask that is applied at the time of forming a channel region having a narrow effective line width. Accordingly, the amount of resist used may be reduced, and the fabrication process can be simplified. This printing method can be used to fabricate a color filter substrate of an LCD device.

Abstract: An organic light emitting display device operating in a concurrent (e.g., simultaneous) emission method, which includes a first power driver configured to apply first power, which changes between a first low level and a first high level, to pixels of the display unit, and a second power driver configured to apply second power, which changes between a second low level and a second high level, to the pixels, wherein each of the pixels includes an organic light emitting diode, a driving transistor configured to control an amount of current supplied to the organic light emitting diode, and an initializing transistor coupled to an anode electrode of the organic light emitting diode and configured to be turned on during a reset period in one frame to supply a reset voltage, which is lower than the first high level of the first power, to the anode electrode of the organic light emitting diode.

The coupling member is made out of a different material than that of the cap plate, each of the coupling member and the lead member include nickel. By including such a coupling member, the strength and durability of the weld connecting the cap plate to the PCM is improved and the contact resistance is lowered.

The software management system generates an identifier for the selected software application which is provided to the data management system, which then obtains the selected software application from the software management system based on the identifier. The obtained software application is then executed with data from a data storage system using resources from a resource system. The resource system includes a plurality of resources and a manage mechanism for managing assignment of the plurality of resources to support execution of the software application.

Abstract: Provided is a method of fabricating an organic thin film transistor (OTFT) using surface energy control. The method changes a polarity of a gate insulating layer to a polarity of a semiconductor channel layer to be formed on the gate insulating layer by controlling surface energy of the gate insulating layer, thereby promoting growth of the semiconductor channel layer on the gate insulating layer. According to the method, the interface characteristics between the gate insulating layer and the semiconductor channel layer are improved, and thus it is possible to implement an OTFT that can minimize leakage current and has high field effect mobility and low turn-on voltage.
