    Abstract: A baggage fastening device includes a first snapping member, a second snapping member detachably secured on the first snapping member, a strap mounted between the first snapping member and the second snapping member, and a protruding stop member mounted on the first snapping member and extended to a side of the second snapping member. Thus, the stop member restricts movement of the strap, so that the movable portion of the strap cannot be released and moved backward after the baggage is tightened by the strap, thereby preventing the strap from being loosened from the baggage so as to provide an anti-reverse effect to prevent the baggage fastening device from being loosened from the baggage.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a display unit, a back light assembly having a light source, a light guiding plate, a light focusing portion, and a mold frame divided into a first frame and a second frame. The mold frame receives the display unit and the back light assembly. The first frame receives the light guiding plate and the light focusing portion and the second frame receives the light source. A reflection sheet is integrally formed at an inner surface of the second frame so as to perform the function of a lamp reflector. Accordingly, a lamp cover is not required so that the number of parts and the manufacturing cost are reduced. A lamp can be exchanged by simply separating the second frame from the mold frame, so failure of the light source caused by friction with other elements is reduced when exchanging the lamp.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a ring binder mechanism for binding the sheets of loose leaves. The mechanism comprises an elongated spring plate that extends longitudinally and, in profile, has a shallow U-shaped configuration and opposite edges which extend substantially toward each other; two parallel elongate hinge plates supported by said spring plate for pivotal toggle motion relative to the spring plate about a central hinge line, which are mounted in parallel and retained by the opposite edges of the spring plate; and a plurality of rings for clasping said sheets of loose leaves. Each of the rings comprises a pair of half ring elements of circular cross-section which are mounted on said hinge plates, with one half ring element of each pair being attached to one of the hinge plates and the other half ring element of the pair attached to the other hinge plate, with the two half ring elements of each pair in substantial alignment.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for a speech system that manages multiple grammars from one or more speech-enabled applications. The speech system includes a speech server that supports different grammars and different types of grammars by exposing several methods to the speech-enabled applications. The speech server supports static grammars that do not change and dynamic grammars that may change after a commit. The speech server provides persistence by supporting persistent grammars that enable a user to issue a command to an application even when the application is not loaded. In such a circumstance, the application is automatically launched and the command is processed. The speech server may enable or disable a grammar in order to limit confusion between grammars. Global and yielding grammars are also supported by the speech server. Global grammars are always active (e.g., “call 9-1-1”) while yielding grammars may be deactivated when an interaction whose grammar requires priority is active.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing flash memory is provided. A tunneling dielectric layer, a conductive layer and a patterned mask layer that exposes a portion of the conductive layer are formed on a substrate. An oxide layer is formed on the exposed conductive layer so that the conductive layer is partitioned through the oxide layer into blocks. The oxide layer is removed and an inter-gate dielectric layer is formed in the opening. A control gate that completely fills the opening is formed. A cap layer is formed over the control gate. The mask layer is then removed. Using the cap layer as a mask, a portion of the conductive layer is removed to form two floating gates under the control gate. An insulating layer is formed on the substrate. Source/drain regions are formed in the substrate on the respective sides of the control gate.

The adjusting circuit includes a silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) coupled to the pad. The SCR includes a first diode. The snapback element is coupled to a first N pole of the first diode when a second diode is not used, and is coupled to a second N pole] of the second diode when the second diode is used. The control circuit is coupled to the first N pole. In a normal operation mode, the control circuit provides a first voltage to the first N pole so that the first N pole collects a plurality of charges and the SCR is turned off. In an ESD mode, the control circuit does not provide the first voltage to the first N pole so that the first N pole does not collect the charges.
