The first receiving container has an opening formed through partial removal of the bottom portion so that the heat-radiation member received inside is exposed.     Abstract: An LCoS chip designed to suppress electrical noise due to cross-talk between electrical components of the chip and stray light entered into the chip. The LCoS chip includes a silicon substrate having an array of memory cells formed thereon. The chip includes the first polycrystalline silicon layer that forms word lines and a metal layer that forms bit lines, wherein the bit lines are directed orthogonal to the word lines. The chip also includes capacitor storages formed of the second and third second polycrystalline silicon layers. The second polycrystalline layer is disposed over the first polycrystalline silicon layer and over regions of the substrate not covered by the word lines. The metal layer includes shields to reduce cross-talk between neighboring bit lines as well as between the bit lines and capacitor storages. The third polycrystalline layer is configured to reduce cross-talk between the bit lines and word lines.

    Abstract: A retractable lens (1) and a swingable lens retracting device (2) thereof are provided. The retractable lens has first, second and third lens groups (L1, L2, L3) constituting a photographing optical system. The swingable lens retracting device consists of a second lens group moving frame (21) and a second lens group holding frame (22) rotatably received in the second lens group moving frame via a pivot shaft (221). A pair of torsion springs (224) is mounted on respective opposite ends of the pivot shaft. When the retractable lens is retracted back to a retracted state, the second lens group is biased by the swingable lens retracting device to an off-axis space radially outside a common optical axis of the photographing optical system with its optical axis being orthogonal to the common optical axis. The transition between a retracted position and a photographing position of the second lens group is accomplished by the resilient restoring force of the torsion springs.

    Abstract: A mounting base of a telescope is assembled between a focusing device and a tubular body and is assembled on a tripod. The mounting base has a sleeve portion and a base portion. The sleeve portion has a rear end and a front end for being assembled with a front end of the focusing device and a rear end of the tubular body, respectively. The base portion integrally connects with a bottom of an outer annular surface of the sleeve portion. The base portion is for being assembled on the tripod. As a result, the mounting base of a telescope of the present invention integrates a sleeve's function and a base's function together. Therefore, the cost of the telescope is reduced, and the stability and the appearance of the telescope are improved.

The gear is driven by a motor so that the optical pickup head and the rack moves straight along the guide rod. The optical pickup head includes an elastic element. The elastic element apply a force to the rack so that the rack rotates around the guide rod and moves closer to the root of the gear to reduce the backlash between the gear and the rack and improve the partial deformation of the end of the rack due to the weak structure.

A sensor can be provided having a property that varies as a function of a temperature at or adjacent the electrical conductor. A controller can be responsive to the digital signal and the property of the sensor for causing another system to operate as a function thereof.
