Abstract: Systems and methods for automated document processing for use in AI-augmented auditing platforms are provided. A system for determining the composition of document bundles extracts substantive content information and metadata information from a document bundle and generates, based on the extracted information regarding a composition of the document bundle. A system for validating signatures in documents extracts data representing a spatial location for respective signatures and generates a confidence level for respective signatures, and determines, based on location and confidence level, whether signature criteria are met. A system for extracting information from documents applies a set of data conversion processing steps to a plurality received documents to generate structured data, and then applies a set of knowledge-based modeling processing steps to the structured data to generating output data extracted from the plurality of electronic documents.

  • Publication number: 20230007358
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a first user with recommendations of media assets for inclusion in a playlist for a second user based on the second user's viewing activity. These systems and methods receive, from the second user, an expression of disinterest in a media asset included in the playlist for the second user, update a user profile associated with the second user based on the expression of disinterest, and determine a recommendation for another media asset based on the updated user profile associated with the second user. The systems and methods provide the recommendation to the first user. By recommending media assets that the second user is least likely to object to, these systems and methods reduce the frequency of disruptive requests for media assets from the second user.

  • Publication number: 20230005402
Abstract: Foldable displays may have portions folded into a folded configuration. Each folded portion may be observed by a user at a different viewing angle. As such, folding-artifacts may appear in the displayed image as a result of the different viewing angles. For example, a perceptible color difference and/or a perceptible brightness difference may appear between folded portions. Disclosed here are systems and methods to create compensated images that when displayed reduced the folding artifacts. The creation may include sensing a viewing angle for each portion and determining adjustments for pixels in each portion using a display model. The display model may be created by measuring color and brightness of pixels for various folded configurations, view-points and/or viewing angles.

  • Patent number: 11545172
Abstract: A system configured to perform sound source localization (SSL) using reflection classification is provided. A device processes audio data representing sounds from multiple sound sources to generate sound track data that includes an individual sound track for each of the sound sources. To detect reflections, the device determines whether a pair of sound tracks are strongly correlated. For example, the device may calculate a correlation value for each pairwise combination of the sound tracks and determine whether the correlation value exceeds a threshold value. When the correlation value exceeds the threshold, the device invokes a reflection classifier trained to distinguish between direct sound sources and reflected sound sources. For example, the device extracts feature data from the pair of sound tracks and processes the feature data using a trained model to determine which of the sound tracks corresponds to the direct sound source.
