Abstract: A data storage server may store a data packet generated by a client in a first server memory prior to the data packet being migrated to a third server memory of the data storage server by a server controller in response to a server data migration module. The data packet may be moved to satisfy a quality of service agreement between a host and the client. The data packet can be proactively copied to a second server memory by the server controller in response to the migration of the data packet from the first to the third server memories.

Abstract: A cyclic packaging process, such as VFFS or HFFS, packages a product with a viscosity of ?100,000 centipoise without leaving substantial air pockets in the package, by utilizing a means (38) for restricting upstream flow of viscous product in the strand of tubing (24). The result is that packages of uniform weight of the viscous product can be made without substantial air pockets therein, and without having to use metal clips. An apparatus (10) for carrying out the process is disclosed.

The cannabinoids and delivery method may treat a disease without inducing psychoactive effects.

Abstract: A connection assembly for securing a support member to a work surface (e.g., a table leg to a table top) that includes an attachment plate, a retainer, and a fitting. The attachment plate connects to a bottom surface of the table top, the fitting connects to an upper end of the table leg, and the retainer exerts a force on the fitting that helps absorb or take up tolerances within the connection assembly so that the support member is securely connected to the work surface. In one example, the retainer is a resilient component that is compressed between the fitting and a receiving portion of the attachment plate to help take up tolerances within the connection assembly, whereas in another example the retainer is a rotatable component that exerts a force against the fitting to address tolerances and the like. A method for providing a connection assembly is also disclosed.

In some embodiments, the hybrid data storage device has a hard disc drive (HDD) controller circuit coupled to non-volatile rotatable storage media and a solid state drive (SSD) controller circuit coupled to non-volatile solid state memory. A local memory stores a map structure which identifies logical addresses of current version data sets stored in the solid state memory. A top level controller circuit operates responsive to the map structure to direct a selected host data transfer access command to the HDD or SSD controller circuit. The map structure may be arranged as a plurality of discrete logical address sequences, where a gap is provided between each adjacent pair of the discrete logical address sequences in the map structure.

Abstract: A corrosion inhibiting coating is applied to a target substrate that includes dual- or poly-terminus siloxane having pendant and/or terminal amine or thiol moieties reacted with a strained ring alkoxysilane. The siloxanes adhered to susceptible surface with a tertiary amine or divalent mercaptan chain linker extending therebetween. The resulting coating functions as a corrosion inhibitor, and in some embodiments as a primer for subsequent painting. The resulting coating is generally invisible to the unaided human eye. A process of forming the corrosion inhibiting coating includes forming a water or solvent based emulsion solution by combining a solvent and/or water with suitable surfactants, an amine functional silicone fluid, and a strained ring containing alkoxysilane reactive with a nitrogen or sulfur containing curative chain linker.
