  • Publication number: 20170370021
Abstract: Provided is a re-operation preparation process of a reaction chamber in which epitaxial growth is performed on a wafer. The re-operation preparation process of the reaction chamber includes disposing a susceptor provided in the reaction chamber and on which the wafer is seated at a preset first position and setting a flow rate of a hydrogen gas introduced through a main valve so that the flow rate is greater than that of a hydrogen gas introduced through a slit valve and moving the susceptor to a preset second position and setting an amount of hydrogen gas introduced through the main valve while the susceptor is maintained at the second position so that the amount of hydrogen gas is less than that of hydrogen gas introduced through the slit valve. Thus, moisture and contaminants stagnant in a lower portion of the reaction chamber may be smoothly discharged along a flow of the hydrogen gas toward a discharge hole.

  • Patent number: 9845269
Abstract: Multifunctional Boron Nitride nanotube-Boron Nitride (BN—BN) nanocomposites for energy transducers, thermal conductors, anti-penetrator/wear resistance coatings, and radiation hardened materials for harsh environments. An all boron-nitride structured BN—BN composite is synthesized. A boron nitride containing precursor is synthesized, then mixed with boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) to produce a composite solution which is used to make green bodies of different forms including, for example, fibers, mats, films, and plates. The green bodies are pyrolized to facilitate transformation into BN—BN composite ceramics. The pyrolysis temperature, pressure, atmosphere and time are controlled to produce a desired BN crystalline structure. The wholly BN structured materials exhibit excellent thermal stability, high thermal conductivity, piezoelectricity as well as enhanced toughness, hardness, and radiation shielding properties.

  • Publication number: 20170327956
Abstract: A method and system for die compensation and restoration uses high-velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) thermal spray coating and plasma ion nitriding to compensate for a particular part (damaged part) of a press die that causes formation of fine curves at a door of a vehicle to restore it to its original state. A coating thickness quantification technique may precisely compensate for the damaged part of the die that causes formation of the fine curves at the door of the vehicle in a circular form using HVOF thermal spray coating. A surface of the die may be nitrided using plasma ion nitriding after HVOF thermal spray coating is performed, so as to harden the surface of the die so that wear resistance and fatigue resistance of the die can be greatly improved and the hardfacing or overlay welding efficiency of the die can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20170306047
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cancer or inflammatory disease, containing an NDRG3 expression or activity inhibitor as an active ingredient. Furthermore, the present invention relates to an NDRG3 protein-specific antibody and a use thereof. Specifically, the antibody to the NDRG3 protein is prepared, and the antibody is used to verify that NDRG3 mediated by lactate generated from a hypoxia reaction promotes cell proliferation, angiogenesis, and cytokine expression through the lactate-NDRG3-c-Raf-ERK signaling pathway, and thus the antibody binding to the epitope of the NDRG3 or a fragment of the antibody can be favorably used in the research of cancer or inflammation occurrence mechanism, the development of novel genes involved in the mechanism, and the development of therapeutic agents and new pharmaceuticals.
