    Abstract: A novel tape cassette reel lock releasing apparatus for a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus. The tape cassette reel lock releasing apparatus includes a main base having a releasing boss inserting hole for a standard type cassette tape which corresponds to the position of a through hole formed on the standard type cassette tape and a releasing boss inserting hole for a small type cassette tape which corresponds to the position of a through hole formed on the small type cassette tape. The tape cassette reel lock releasing apparatus also comprises a releasing boss for the standard type cassette tape and a releasing boss for the small type cassette tape. The releasing bosses are respectively inserted into the releasing boss inserting holes from a lower portion of the main base. A supporting rib is attached to the bottom portion of the main base and is provided between the releasing boss inserting holes. A bracket is hinged to the lower end portion of the supporting rib.

The capstan motor pulley includes a first contact body fixed to a capstan motor shaft of a capstan motor and adapted to be contacted with the timing belt, a first fixed guide plate integrally formed on one principal plane of the first contact body facing toward the capstan motor, and a first guide cap detachably mounted on the other principal plane of the first contact body, in order to prevent the timing belt from deviating from the first contact body. The driven belt pulley has a second contact body contacted with the timing belt, a second fixed guide plate integrally formed on one principal plane of the second contact body located in a same direction as the first fixed guide plate, and a second guide cap detachably mounted on the other principal plane of the second contact body in order to prevent the timing belt from deviating from the second contact body.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating quasi equally spaced multi-channel frequencies using a frequency shifter. The optical multi-channel transmission system using OFDM or WDM can be provided with quasi equally spaced(unequally sequential spaced) frequencies on the basis of the functional relation among the frequency differences(n.sub.ij =n.sub.i -n.sub.j (i=j=1,2,3, . . . n)) of any two neighboring channels. Namely, after generating equally spaced frequencies by using a reference resonator, such as a Fiber Fabry Perot(FFP) resonator, each of the equally spaced frequencies is sequentially shifted by a frequency shifter, which generates and controls the quasi equally spaced(unequally sequential spaced) frequencies in order to effectively avoid crosstalk due to FFWM, and fully make use of the transmission bandwidth belonging to the low dispersion region of the optical fiber.

    Abstract: A mounting device is used to mount a handlebar on a head tube of a bicycle and includes a positioning member which is adapted to be mounted on the head tube and a holding member which includes complementary first and second holding arms. The pivot end portion of each of the holding arms is mounted pivotally on the positioning member. The gripping end portion of each of the holding arms is formed with a grip section with an axis that is parallel to an axis of the pivot hole. The grip sections of the holding arms are adapted to grip fittingly the handlebar therebetween. The abutment faces of the holding arms are complementary and are formed as twisted faces that abut against each other. A first fastener extends through the pivot end portion of each of the holding arms and the positioning member to mount the holding member onto the positioning member.

    Abstract: A column decoding circuit for a semiconductor memory device includes a decoding unit and a pulse generating unit. The decoding unit decodes a selected column address and generates a selection signal. The pulse generating unit self-generates a pulse signal based on the selection signal output from the decoding unit. The pulse generating unit uses the self-generated pulse signal and the selection signal to output to a selected column switch a control signal having a minimum pulse width sufficient for selecting an associated column. Accordingly, a high speed read operation is performed by decreasing a loading and transmission time of the control signal. Further, power consumption of the column decoding circuit is decreased by self-generating the pulse signal, preferably based on the selection signal.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a method for forming an ultra-shallow junction of a semiconductor device, comprising a four-stage RTA process following the ion implantation of dopants for source/drain junction, the RTA process being carried out with high temperature-elevating and -quenching rates between the stages, in such a way that relatively low temperatures are used for a short time in the first three stages in order to eliminate only the point defects, which greatly affect the diffusion of dopants, without diffusion of dopants while a relatively high temperature is taken in the last stage with the aim of allowing the dopants to diffuse a little to p.sup.+ and n.sup.+ shallow junctions, thereby obtaining an improvement in electrical activity and reducing junction current leakage and thus, improving the properties and reliability of the resulting semiconductor device.

A filter or a washcoat made of the discharged catalyst composition alone or in combination with ordinary filtering materials or ordinary washcoat materials can be very useful for purification of smoke. In addition, a catalyst in which at least one metal of the platinum group is uniformly impregnated on the filter is quite superior to conventional ones employing alumina or titania as a washcoat in stability to both high temperature and sulfur trioxide.
