An initial light-generating time of an nth light-generating unit being delayed by a predetermined time gap relative to the (n?1)th light-generating unit so that each of the fields includes a first period, in which one of the lights is generated, and a second period, in which at least two of the lights are generated. The light-generating units generate a peak light having a peak intensity in the first period. Thus, the intensity of light or the time period for which the light is generated, is controlled so that color mixing is minimized and color purity is improved.

A method for manufacturing the electrode and an electrochemical device using the electrode are also disclosed. The organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer formed on the electrode according to the present invention provides an additional pathway for lithium ion conduction due to a plurality of pore structures present in the porous inorganic particles. Thus, when the organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer is used instead of a conventional polymer-based separator in a battery, the battery can provide improved quality and an increased energy density per unit weight due to a reduced weight of the organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer.

Processes for forming contact plugs using such photomasks may provide increased processing margin and extend the utility of conventional exposure equipment for semiconductor devices exhibiting increased integration density and/or built to more demanding design rules.

Other components can be included in the barrier rib forming material such as an alkali-based metal oxide, B2O3, SiO2, etc. The barrier rib formed of the glass frit can additionally include a photosensitive organic material which may include a crosslinking agent, a polyfunctional monomer or oligomer, a photo initiator, a binder and an additive. A method of forming the barrier ribs comprising the glass frit composition is also provided as is a PDP including such barrier ribs.

Unlike conventional protective layers which employ MgO created in conditions of pressurized artificial gas, the instant protective layer uses MgO created by heating Mg and allowing it to oxidize naturally in air. The result is MgO with fewer defects that is more effective as a protective layer in many uses, such as in a PDP. The instant MgO also shows many specific spectral characteristics and contains impurities in amounts of less than about 2 ppm each. Also disclosed is a PDP which takes advantage of the advantages of the inventive protective layer.
