  • Patent number: 7616537
Abstract: Provided are a focus search apparatus and method for performing a focus search after moving an optical pickup to a focus-on point according to a signal output from a sine wave generator so that a stable and smooth focus search is performed. In the focus search method, a sine wave is generated in response to a focus search command. The focus search is performed using an optical pickup in response to the sine wave. The optical pickup is driven in response to an amplitude of the sine wave during the focus search and in response to a filtered focus error signal during a focus servo.

  • Publication number: 20090261450
Abstract: An electrical fuse and a process of programming the same are presented. An electrical fuse comprises a lower level silicide layer on a non-doped or lightly-doped polysilicon layer, an upper level conductive layer, and a tungsten contact coupled between the lower level silicide layer and the upper level conductive layer. The tungsten contact and a neck portion of the silicide layer are the programmable portion of the electrical fuse. High post-programming resistance is achieved by a first programming phase that depletes silicide in the silicide layer, followed by a second programming phase that depletes tungsten in the tungsten contact.

  • Publication number: 20090230932
Abstract: A per-phase quick response generation circuit generates a quick response signal to determine a quick response pulse to be inserted into a pulse width modulation signal of the corresponding phase. The quick response pulse will force the upper power switch of the corresponding phase on to increase the current supply ability during load transition. A multi-phase voltage regulator with the quick response generation circuit can have different quick response pulse widths for the interleaved phases, so as to decrease the current imbalance period of the voltage regulator after load transition.

  • Patent number: 7573846
Abstract: A method and system for supporting mobility of a mobile node in which, when it is recognized that the mobile node has moved into a foreign sub-network, the mobile node is allocated, by its home sub-network, a new Internet protocol address suitable for a prefix of the foreign sub-network after movement when moving out of an area of the home sub-network into the foreign sub-network so that route optimization is implemented. Since direct communication is made between a mobile node and a correspondent node without passing a network where the mobile node existed before movement, it is possible to implement the route optimization. There is no generation of packet overhead since Internet protocol tunneling technology is not applied upon routing.
