Abstract: A system and method for preventing a failure of an exhaust heat recovery device are provided. The method includes operating a sole exhaust heat recovery mode when cooling water has a temperature less than a warm-up reference temperature to introduce all exhaust gas flowing from a DPF into the exhaust heat recovery device where the exhaust gas exchanges heat with the cooling water. Additionally, a passage through which the exhaust gas bypasses the exhaust heat recovery device is opened when the exhaust gas at a rear of the DPF has a temperature greater than the warm-up reference temperature during the sole exhaust heat recovery mode.

  • Publication number: 20170269744
Abstract: A display may have an array of pixels. A transparent conductive layer may serve as a common voltage electrode layer and may distribute a common voltage to each of the pixels. Metal layers may be used to form routing structures. One of the metal layers may be patterned to form gate lines that distribute control signals to thin-film transistors in the pixels. Touch sensor circuitry may be coupled to horizontal and vertical capacitive touch sensor electrodes formed from the transparent conductive layer. A touch sensor signal border routing path in an inactive area of the display may have openings that run parallel to the gate lines and that each overlap one of the gate lines to reduce capacitive coupling between the gate lines and the touch sensor signal border routing path.

  • Publication number: 20170268266
Abstract: A double axial hinge for a console creates myriad combinations of folding, opening, closing, and extending of doors, panels, and windows of a console. The hinge provides a fixed central panel having a pair of edges. A first pivoting axis and a second pivoting axis in a parallel, spaced-apart relationship enable pivoting about the central panel up to 360 degrees from two directions. The ends of the hinge utilize a first L-shaped bracket and second L-shaped bracket that pivot independently of each other and have a broad L-shape that can be mounted on various mounting surfaces. The L-shaped brackets have a mounting panel that mounts to the console and a hinging panel that pivots about the respective pivoting axes. In an alternative embodiment of the hinge, at least one tab extends from the second pivoting axis restricts pivoting in a first direction about a central panel beyond 90 degrees.

  • Publication number: 20170270333
Abstract: A fingerprint sensor includes a pixel array, an analog-to-digital converter, and a reference signal generator. The pixel array includes a plurality of unit pixels arranged in rows and columns, and each of the plurality of unit pixels generates an analog signal by detecting a fingerprint of a user. The analog-to-digital converter performs an analog-to-digital conversion operation on the analog signal to generate a digital signal. The analog-to-digital converter is configured to perform the analog-to-digital conversion based on a reference signal. The reference signal generator generates the reference signal such that the reference signal decreases at a first rate from a start voltage, and adjusts a magnitude of the start voltage based on the digital signal.
