The first and second subpixel electrodes include a plate portion and a plurality of branch portions extending from the plate portion. The first and second reference voltage lines include a first portion overlapping the first subpixel electrode and the second subpixel electrode. The first portion overlaps the plate portion of the first and second subpixel electrodes.     Abstract: A detecting system includes a motherboard, and an embedded controller. The motherboard includes a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor transistor (CMOS) chip and a basic input/output system (BIOS). The embedded controller is configured to store a maximum preset speed and a minimum preset speed of each of a plurality of fans. The embedded controller is configured to detect an actual speed of each fan and further configured to determine if the detected actual speed is greater than the maximum preset speed or less than the minimum preset speed. The embedded controller is configured to call the BIOS to store the detected actual speed into the CMOS chip when the detected actual speed is greater than the maximum preset speed or less than the minimum preset speed. The BIOS is configured to read the detected actual speed stored in the CMOS chip to display and report the errors.

    Abstract: The demand for increased performance and shrinking geometry from ICs has brought the introduction of multi-gate devices including finFET devices. Inducing a higher tensile strain/stress in a region provides for enhanced electron mobility, which may improve performance. High temperature processes during device fabrication tend to relax the stress on these strain inducing layers. The present disclosure relates to a method of forming a strain inducing layer or cap layer at the RPG (replacement poly silicon gate) stage of a finFET device formation process. In some embodiments, the strain inducing layer is doped to reduce the external resistance.

    Abstract: A DNA polymerase (Neq DNA polymerase) derived from Nanoarchaeum equitans is split into Neq L and Neq S fragments, each of which contains inteins. A Neq hot-start (HS) DNA polymerase in which the inteins of the Neq L and Neq S fragments are linked with each other is provided in the form of a precursor of Neq DNA polymerase. A purification method can be significantly improved by inserting a His-tag sequence composed of six histidine residues between the inteins of the Neq L and Neq S fragments at a gene level. As a result of effort to enhance PCR efficiency of the Neq HS DNA polymerase, a gene coding for the Neq HS DNA polymerase is mutated at specific positions to screen mutant Neq HS polymerases (M1, M2, and M3) having a highly improved PCR amplification rate and amplification level.

    Abstract: Methods and related structures are disclosed for forming contact landing regions in split-gate NVM (non-volatile memory) systems. A dummy select gate structure is formed while also forming select gates for split-gate NVM cells. A control gate layer is formed over the select gates and the dummy select gate structure, as well as an intervening charge storage layer. The control gate material will fill in gaps between the select gate material and the dummy select gate material. A non-patterned spacer etch is then used to etch the control gate layer to form a contact landing region associated with the dummy select gate structure while also forming spacer control gates for the split-gate NVM cells. The disclosed embodiments provide improved (e.g., more planar) contact landing regions without requiring additional processing steps and without increasing the pitch of the resulting NVM cell array.
