  • Publication number: 20210319047
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for enabling uses to instantly access real-time digital content, information, and services related to specific broadcast content or communications based on the specific broadcast area of the communication or the location of the users. Identifiers, communications, and broadcast channels are maintained and dynamically tracked based on geographic location, broadcast areas, date, and time, thereby enabling end users to access such real-time content based on such information, including using broadcast specific identifiers to identify specific communications and obtain additional information over voice and other services based on each specific communication. The system tracks and uses such identifiers, communications, and channels, separately or together with other information known or ascertainable by the systems, to provide users instant access to personalized, location, context, and communications specific, content, information, and services.

  • Publication number: 20210286824
Abstract: An online system performs upgrades of replicated databases. The online system stores data in a primary site and a secondary site. The primary site comprising databases used to process client requests and a secondary site comprising databases used as standby. The online system upgrades databases of both sites by upgrading the secondary site, switching client requests to the secondary site while using the databases of primary site as standby databases. The online system then upgrades the primary site. The process allows the online system to upgrade databases with small down time.

  • Patent number: 11122193
Abstract: A lighting module which provides adjustably controllable illumination of a camera field of view of a camera module includes an adjustable collimator which can be adjustably positioned such that the emitted light beam is adjustably directed to illuminate various regions of various camera fields of view. The collimator can be adjusted via an actuator which adjustably positions the collimator relative to static components of the lighting module, including the light emitter. The light beam can be directed to illuminate a selected limited region of a camera field of view, based on identification of a subject within the limited region. The light beam can be adjustably directed based on user interactions with a user interface, including adjusting the light beam according to user-commanded beam angle, intensity, and direction. The light beam can be adjustably directed to illuminate a region according to different fields of view of different camera modules.

  • Publication number: 20210265742
Abstract: A system tests a device under test (DUT) that includes an antenna. The system includes a probe antenna, a network emulator, and a near-field antenna. The probe antenna measures beam characteristics of a beam-locked beam emitted over the air by the antenna of the DUT as the DUT is moved relative to the probe antenna during testing of the DUT. The network emulator emulates a base station of a communications network in communications with the DUT. The near-field antenna maintains a call link between the network emulator and the DUT using surface waves between the near-field antenna and the DUT as the DUT is moved relative to the probe antenna.

  • Publication number: 20210248307
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for enhancing text-based electronic communications. In one embodiment, a sending agent automatically, or upon request by a user, disambiguates identifiers and terms included in a communication internally or in collaboration with a remote device or server based on the identity and history of the sending or intended receiving device or user, the content or context of the communication and/or the sending or intended receiving device or user and automatically or at the request of the sender, appends, enhances or provides certain additional information related to the identifier or terms to the message in real time. This additional information is then included or referenced, but not necessarily initially displayed or communicated, in the communication. The integrated system also may include a receiving agent on the receiving device that can disambiguate the identifier or terms and provide additional information and services related to the identifier or terms in the communication.

  • Patent number: 11047640
Abstract: A universal firearm shield adapted to attach to a firearm suppressor. Suppressors fail to dampen all of the effects of firearm discharge, leaving behind residual effects that may be noticeable. The shield dampens the residual effects of firearm discharge that are not captured by the suppressor. The residual effects are captured by the shield and dispersed throughout one or more interior chambers. The shield easily, quickly, and securely couples to suppressors of varying geometries due to the slidably adjustable components of the shield. The shield is configured to surround the suppressor and axially align with the suppressor. As such, the muzzle of the firearm axially aligns with the shield, the suppressor, and the barrel for an unobstructed projectile path during discharge.
