  • Publication number: 20250002700
Abstract: An impact modifier composition (IMC) is disclosed comprising (a) a polyolefin plastomer (POP), and (b) at least one block copolymer. The POP has a density of 0.870 to 0.920 g/cm3, a MFI of 0.5 to 30 g/10 minutes at 190° C./2.16 kg, a melt index ratio of 10 to 22, and a long chain branching (LCB) of <15 LCB/106 carbons. The at least one block copolymer is selected from (i) a first hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer (first HSBC), (ii) a second hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer (second HSBC), and (iii) at least one multi-arm block copolymer (MABC). Each first HSBC and second HSBC has a polystyrene content (PSC) of 3 to 20 wt. %, and 15 to 30 wt. %, respectively. The impact modifier composition can be used in polyolefin compositions to improve impact resistance and a balance of other mechanical properties.

  • Patent number: 8815697
Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device having a capacitor. The method includes forming a composite layer, including sequentially stacking on a substrate alternating layers of first through nth sacrificial layers and first through nth supporting layers. A plurality of openings that penetrate the composite layer are formed. A lower electrode is formed in the plurality of openings. At least portions of the first through nth sacrificial layers are removed to define a support structure for the lower electrode extending between adjacent ones of the plurality of openings and the lower electrode formed therein, the support structure including the first through nth supporting layers and a gap region between adjacent ones of the first through nth supporting layers where the first through nth sacrificial layers have been removed. A dielectric layer is formed on the lower electrode and an upper electrode is formed on the dielectric layer.

  • Patent number: 6569935
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyolefin-based composite resin composition having a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion, wherein the composition comprises a) 40 to 80 weight % of crystalline ethylene-propylene copolymer, b) 5 to 40 weight % of ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer, c) 5 to 30 weight % of calcium-metasilicate based wollastonite, and d) 5 to 30 weight % of inorganic reinforcing agent based on the total composition amount. The polyolefin-based composite resin composition having a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion not only has excellent mechanical rigidity, impact resistance, heat resistance, injection moldability, product flatness, and dimensional stability, but also has a low shrinkage, a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion, and a low heat sag. Therefore, it can be used for the manufacture of automobile exterior components.
