Abstract: A method of transmitting and receiving data using a superframe structure is disclosed. A method for transmitting data through a superframe including a superframe header, includes generating the superframe which includes a data region including user data and includes a dedicated control region including data region allocation information indicating resource allocation for the data region, and transmitting the superframe. The dedicated control region is arranged at at least one of locations except for a subframe of the superframe header. A user equipment which does not have to transmit and receive data decodes only data region allocation information using information of the data region indicated by a dedicated control region, thereby minimizing power loss, reducing a feedback delay, and reducing system overhead using a superframe structure.

Abstract: A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided. The display apparatus includes a channel setting storage unit which stores mode selection information about a plurality of channel designation modes each of which designates a way of setting an initial channel to be automatically tuned to upon turning on the display apparatus. The display apparatus also includes a control unit which, upon turning on the display apparatus, determines one of the channel designation modes based on the stored mode selection information, and controls the display apparatus to automatically tune to a channel, designated to be the initial channel by the determined channel designation mode.

Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided, in which when transmitting a remote User Interface (UI), a remote UI server may provide feedback effects associated with user inputs, such as vibrations and sound effects to a remote UI client. The remote UI client includes a web browser module for rendering and outputting UI data that is received from a remote UI server in response to a remote UI request, and requesting feedback processing for providing, to a user, a feedback effect defined in the received UI data; and a feedback processor for processing feedback data in response to a request of the web browser module, and providing the feedback effect to the user according to the processing results.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling a Remote User Interface Server (RUIS) in a Remote User Interface Client (RUIC), wherein the method includes rendering an RUI page for controlling RUISs, receiving an input of a control command for controlling the RUISs from a user through the RUI page, generating a multicast control message for transmitting the input control command in a form of multicast, and transmitting the multicast control message to the RUISs.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing a security service is provided. The apparatus includes a reception module which receives first data including a first public key and marked with a security ID, the first public key being one of a pair of public keys necessary for providing a security service to a home server and the security ID indicating that the first data needs to be encrypted; a response generation module which generates second data by encrypting part of a response message for the first data; and a transmission module which transmits the second data to a home server in a home network.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an organic thin film device. The organic thin film device includes a UV barrier layer, which has a UV blocking effect, in addition to at least one electrode and at least one organic semiconductor layer on a substrate. The organic thin film device employs a film or a coating liquid which comprises phenolic derivatives or cyanoacrylate derivatives exhibiting a UV-blocking effect in a wavelength of 400 nm or less, so that photodecomposition of an organic material for use in fabrication of the organic thin film device by UV rays and sunlight can be minimized, thereby innovatively increasing lifetime of the device.

Abstract: A light emitting device and a display device using the same. The light emitting device includes: a substrate provided with recesses formed in a stripe pattern; first electrodes disposed inside the recesses in a stripe pattern aligned parallel to the recesses; electron emission regions disposed on the first electrodes; second electrodes disposed in a stripe pattern aligned in a direction crossing the first electrodes and closely fixed to the substrate; and an adhesive member for fixing the second electrodes to the substrate. The second electrodes include mesh portions spaced apart from tops of the electron emission regions in crossing of the first electrodes and the second electrodes, supports surrounding the mesh portions and connected with the substrate, and combining grooves formed at edges of the supports facing the substrate. The adhesive members are disposed in the combining grooves of the second electrodes to connect the second electrodes with the substrate.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a sintered annular nuclear fuel pellet includes: molding nuclear fuel powder or granules to fabricate an annular nuclear fuel green body; inserting a rod-like shaped structure into the annular nuclear fuel green body; sintering the rod-like shaped structure-inserted annular nuclear fuel green body in a reductive gas atmosphere; and separating the sintered annular nuclear fuel pellet from the rod-like shaped structure.

Abstract: An electron emission device includes a substrate, cathode electrodes formed on the substrate, electron emission regions electrically coupled to the cathode electrodes, an insulation layer formed on the substrate while covering the cathode electrodes, and gate electrodes formed on the insulation layer and crossing the cathode electrodes. One or more gate holes are formed at each of crossing regions of the gate electrodes and the cathode electrodes through the insulation layer and the gate electrodes. At least one of the cathode electrodes includes at least two openings divided by a bridge. The at least two openings divided by the bridge are formed on each exposed region of the cathode electrodes through the gate holes. A corresponding one of the electron emission regions contacts the bridge and extends toward the walls of at least one of the openings but is spaced away from the cathode electrodes.

Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for providing a User Interface (UI) component to a second Remote User Interface Client (RUIC) incapable of directly receiving the UI component from a Remote User Interface Server (RUIS) in a first RUIC capable of directly receiving the UI component from the RUIS. In the method, the first RUIC discovers the second RUIC that will receive the UI component. Upon discovering the second RUIC, the first RUIC performs a device capability matching procedure between the RUIS and the second RUIC. After completion of the device capability matching procedure, the first RUIC provides the second RUIC with a UI component received from the RUIS and processed for the second RUIC, and delivers control information for the UI component from the second RUIC to the RUIS.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a sintered annular nuclear fuel pellet includes molding nuclear fuel powder or granule, an oxide of a fissile element (M), to fabricate an annular nuclear fuel green body. A rod-like shaped structure is inserted into the annular nuclear fuel green body and sintered in a slight oxidizing gas atmosphere such that the oxide of the fissile element has a balanced O/M ratio higher than a desired O/M ratio (oxygen/fissile element) of a final sintered annular nuclear fuel pellet, while being maintained in a cubic phase. The sintered annular nuclear fuel pellet is then reduced in a reductive gas atmosphere so as to have the desired O/M ratio in the state that the rod-like shaped structure is inserted.
