    Abstract: Provided is an antiviral agent against animal viruses. The antiviral agent contains a protein or a nucleic acid sequence encoding the protein, as an active ingredient, the protein having binding ability and degrading ability to foreign nucleic acid chains invaded in an animal cell and that has no cytotoxicity to the animal cell itself. Also provided is an antiviral animal cell containing the protein according to the present invention, or the nucleic acid sequence encoding the protein. The antiviral agent and antiviral animal cell exhibit advantageous effects in that they selectively degrade foreign nucleic acid chains invaded in an animal cell and have no cytotoxicity to the animal cell, thus causing no death of the animal cell.

    Abstract: A cooling module for a vehicle may include a radiator with a first header tank receiving coolant, a second header tank at a predetermined distance from the first header tank to exhaust coolant, and a plurality of tubes that connects the first header tank with the second header tank, and a radiating fin is formed therebetween and at a front side of a vehicle, a water cooled condenser that receives refrigerant through a refrigerant pipe in the second header tank formed by laminating a plurality of plates, which condenses refrigerant by exchanging heat with cooled coolant flowing the second header tank, and an air-cooled condenser connected to the water cooled condenser through the refrigerant pipe, receives first-condensed refrigerant from the water cooled condenser, and is disposed at a front side of the radiator to further condense the refrigerant by exchanging heat with outside air.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to computer-implemented methods of making a transfer tray using rapid prototyping techniques, where the gingival edge of the tray is defined to intersect with at least one receptacle for receiving an orthodontic appliance. This tray configuration helps to minimize the travel distance of the tray when placing the tray over a patient's teeth, while also preserving a high degree of mechanical retention for retaining the appliance until such time that the appliance is bonded to the tooth. Other aspects of the tray and associated methods of bonding are directed to a frangible web that extends over the gingival portion of the receptacle and fractures to facilitate tray removal after bonding.

    Abstract: The method for manufacturing a solid electrolyte using an LLZ material for a lithium-ion battery comprises the steps of: providing a starting material in which lanthanum nitrate [La(NO3)3.6H2O] and zirconium nitrate [ZrO(NO3)2.6H2O] are mixed at a mole ratio of 3:2; forming an aqueous solution by dissolving the starting material; forming a precipitate by putting ammonia, which is a complex agent, and sodium hydroxide, which adjusts the pH of a reactor, into the aqueous solution, mixing the same, and then co-precipitating the mixture; forming a primary precursor powder by cleaning, drying and pulverizing the precipitate; forming a secondary precursor powder by mixing lithium powder [LiOH.H2O] with the primary precursor powder and ball-milling the mixture so as to solidify the lithium; and forming a solid electrolyte powder by heat-treating the secondary precursor powder.
