Abstract: Briefly, a drinking set is provided that has a cup and a flow control disk set fully inside the cup. The flow control disk is constructed for creating a tortured flow path for any fluid flowing out of the cup. In this way, spills are substantially reduced or minimized, and the user has a stable and predictable sipping experience, even when the cup is jostled or violently moved. Fluid moving from the cup first hits a set of steeply angled entry fins, which absorb or reflect energy in the fluid. The fluid passes through a set of small entry openings, and flow to a set of exit fins, where the fluid strikes a face of the exit fins and changes direction to a set of larger exit openings. This tortured fluid path causes the drinking fluid to have a controlled flow and reduced kinetic energy as it approaches the user's mouth, multiple changes in flow direction, and provides several obstacles for absorbing kinetic energy and thus slowing the flow of the fluid.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of constructing a fused relationship network. The method includes: obtaining interaction data from a plurality of data sources, wherein the interaction data contains a plurality of user relationship information; generating, based on the identification information for each user in each user relationship information, a node for the user in the fused relationship network, and generating, based on the interaction information between two users in each user relationship information, an edge between the nodes for the two users in the fused relationship network, wherein a same user identification is generated as one node. The present disclosure further provides an apparatus of constructing a fused relationship network, an electronic device, and a storage medium.

Abstract: Hydantoin based compounds useful as inhibitors of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), particularly macrophage elastase (MMP-12) are described. Also described are related compositions and methods of using the compounds to inhibit MMP-12 and treat diseases mediated by MMP-12, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, acute lung injury, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), sarcoidosis, systemic sclerosis, liver fibrosis, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), arthritis, cancer, heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), acute kidney injury (AKI), chronic kidney disease (CKD), Alport syndrome, and nephritis.

Abstract: Disclosed is a field effect transistor-based biosensor for detecting whole-cell bacteria which includes a source, a drain, and a biosensing member disposed between the source and the drain. The biosensing member includes at least one semiconductor wire, a surface modification layer, and a plurality of detecting elements. The semiconductor wire serves as a semiconductor channel interconnecting the source and the drain, and has a length so as to permit the biosensing member to capture the whole-cell bacteria. Also disclosed is a field effect transistor-based biosensor assembly including the biosensor.

Abstract: Disclosed is a server capable of improving convenience for a user at the time of service registration. The server includes a service providing unit which provides a service to an unregistered user who is not registered in the service when the unregistered user accesses the service, and a storage device which stores a service history provided to the unregistered user by the service providing unit. When the unregistered user is registered in the service, the service providing unit allows the unregistered user to use the service while taking over a service history used when the unregistered user is not registered in the service.

The method includes: A terminal device determines a first bit rate of channel state information part 1 CSI-1, where the first bit rate is a bit quantity of the CSI-1 carried on each resource element for transmitting the CSI-1; and the terminal device adjusts transmit power of a physical uplink shared channel PUSCH based on the first bit rate, where the PUSCH is used to carry the CSI-1.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink grant that indicates scheduling information for an uplink shared channel transmission by the UE. The UE may also receive a downlink grant scheduling feedback information to be piggybacked on the uplink shared channel transmission, and may determine whether the downlink grant has been received after the uplink grant. The UE may then select from a set of resources indicated in the uplink grant, or determine that a feedback piggybacking condition has been met based on the downlink grant. The UE may perform the uplink shared channel transmission to the base station, in some cases including the feedback information.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an epoxidized natural rubber composite and a preparation process thereof, and relates to the technical field of rubber materials. The epoxidized natural rubber composite provided by the present disclosure comprises the following preparation raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of epoxidized natural rubber, 1˜30 parts of peanut meal, 0.05˜0.8 parts of surfactants, 0.1˜4 parts of coagulant and 0.2˜12 parts of vulcanization processing aids. The present disclosure utilizes essential amino acids and non-essential amino acids contained in peanut meal to improve the aging resistance of the epoxidized natural rubber. After hot air aging, ozone aging and ultraviolet aging treatments, both the tensile strength retention rate and the elongation at break retention rate of the epoxidized natural rubber composites of the present disclosure can be kept above 83%.

Abstract: Systems and methods for surgical guidance and image registration are provided, in which three-dimensional image data associated with an object or patient is registered to topological image data obtained using a surface topology imaging device. The surface topology imaging device may be rigidly attached to an optical position measurement system that also tracks fiducial markers on a movable instrument. The instrument may be registered to the topological image data, such that the topological image data and the movable instrument are registered to the three-dimensional image data. The three-dimensional image data may be CT or MRI data associated with a patient. The system may also co-register images pertaining to a surgical plan with the three-dimensional image data. In another aspect, the surface topology imaging device may be configured to directly track fiducial markers on a movable instrument. The fiducial markers may be tracked according to surface texture.

The microbial culture is exposed to a stress ramp function which is overlaid on top of a culture fitness function. The amount of stress applied to the culture is increased in response to increased fitness of the microbial culture.
