Abstract: An optical-fiber connector includes a handle, a sleeve member, and connecting housings each including a housing body and an elastic arm. Each elastic arm includes engaging blocks protruding from the elastic arm and a slidable groove on the corresponding housing body. The slidable grooves face each other. The handle includes a handle body between the elastic arms and a handle member extending from the handle body. Two slidable blocks are at two sides of the handle body and respectively inserted into the slidable grooves, and two protruding blocks are at two sides of the handle member. The sleeve member is fitted over the handle member. First and second engaging grooves are on a wall surface of the sleeve member, and the first and second engaging grooves are on different positions of the wall surface of the sleeve member. Accordingly, the length of the handle is adjustable.

Abstract: This invention discloses a semiconductor power device disposed in a semiconductor substrate including an active cell areas and a termination area. The semiconductor power device further comprises a plurality of gate trenches formed at a top portion of the semiconductor substrate in the active cell area wherein each of the gate trenches is partially filled with a conductive gate material with a top portion of the trenches filled by a high density plasma (HDP) insulation layer. The semiconductor power device further comprises mesa areas of the semiconductor substrate disposed between the gate trenches wherein the mesa areas are recessed and having a top mesa surface disposed vertically below a top surface of the HDP insulation layer wherein the HDP insulation layer covering over the conductive gate material constituting a stick-out boundary-defining layer surrounding the recessed mesa areas in the active cell areas between the gate trenches.

Abstract: A single-layer magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) radio frequency (RF) coil element configured to operate in a transmit (Tx) mode and a receive (Rx) mode, the coil element comprising: an LC coil and a failsafe circuit electrically connected with the LC coil, where the LC coil, upon resonating with a primary coil of an MRI system, generates a local amplified Tx field based on an induced current generated in the LC coil by inductive coupling between the LC coil and the primary coil, where the failsafe circuit provides, upon injection of a forward DC bias current into the failsafe circuit, a first impedance, and upon the absence of the forward DC bias current, a second, higher impedance; where the failsafe circuit, upon the single-layer MRI RF coil array element being disconnected from an MRI system, provides the second, higher impedance, and reduces the magnitude of the induced current.

Abstract: A GIP circuit, a method for driving the GIP circuit and a flat panel display device incorporating the GIP circuit. The GIP circuit is simple in structure and is capable of producing GIP signals that can be neatly pulled from a high level down to a low level. This allows better driving, avoids ripples and achieves higher display quality of the flat panel display device.

Abstract: A method for recovering a basic input/output system (BIOS) image file of a computer system is provided. The method includes steps of: controlling a switch unit of the computer system to switch from a first state to a second state when the BIOS image file is to be updated; reading a current BIOS image file so as to store the same as a backup; controlling the switch unit to switch back to the first state; determining whether a command is received within a first predetermined time period when the BIOS image file is successfully updated to a new version of the BIOS image file; and when negative, controlling the switch unit to switch to the second state and writing the backup of the current version of the BIOS image file.

Abstract: An LED tube lamp comprises a lamp tube, two end caps attached at two ends of the lamp tube respectively, a power supply disposed in one of the two end caps or separately in both of the end caps, an LED light strip disposed inside the lamp tube and a protective layer disposed on the LED light strip. The LED light strip comprises a mounting region and a connecting region. The plurality of LED light sources is mounted on the mounting region and two soldering pads are disposed on the connecting region. The mounting region and the connecting region are electrically connecting the plurality of LED light sources with the power supply. The protective layer comprises a plurality of first openings arranged on the mounting region for accommodating the LED light sources and two second openings are arranged on the connecting region for accommodating the two soldering pad.

The method executed by a management system includes: adding a mapping relationship between a UUID of a newly discovered resource object and an FDN identifier of the newly discovered resource object to a resource object identifier mapping relationship table; receiving a first query request for a to-be-managed resource object that is sent by an application system, where the first query request is used to obtain an FDN identifier of the to-be-managed resource object; and returning the FDN identifier of the to-be-managed resource object to the application system. According to the method, the resource object in the SDN system can be managed by using the application system by slightly modifying a network management system in an existing network system and an application based on the network management system, thereby implementing smooth evolution of the existing network system to the SDN system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for determining a stroke during sleep capable of determining whether or not a stroke occurs during sleep of a user (a patient). Accuracy of determination for whether or not the stroke occurs is improved by applying a sleeping position (SP) filter (a processing process of deleting a measurement result when a user is not lying with his/her breast facing upward) and then comparing a ratio between left and right motions to determine whether or not the stroke occurs.

Abstract: A method for speech processing includes determining a first unvoicing parameter for a first subframe of a speech signal, and determining a smoothed unvoicing parameter for the first subframe according to a second unvoicing parameter of a second subframe prior to the first subframe of the speech signal. The first unvoicing parameter is determined according to a periodicity parameter and a spectral tilt parameter. The method further includes computing a difference between the first unvoicing parameter for the first subframe and the smoothed unvoicing parameter for the first subframe and determining a classification of the first subframe using the computed difference as a decision parameter. The classification indicates whether the first subframe is an unvoiced speech signal or not an unvoiced speech signal. Bandwidth extension is performed on the speech signal for the first subframe according to the classification of the first subframe.
