The TFT substrate includes a first TFT including a polycrystalline semiconductor layer, a first gate electrode, a first source electrode, and a first drain electrode deposited on a substrate, a second TFT separated from the first TFT, the second TFT including a second gate electrode, an oxide semiconductor layer, a second source electrode, and a second drain electrode deposited on the first gate electrode, and a plurality of storage capacitors separated from the first and second TFTs, each storage capacitor including a first dummy semiconductor layer, a first gate insulating layer on the first dummy semiconductor layer, a first dummy gate electrode on the first gate insulating layer, and an intermediate insulating layer on the first dummy gate electrode.

The apparatus includes an interfacing unit configured to receive biometric information, which is measured by an external measuring device, corresponding to a health condition of a body part of a user, from the external measuring device; and a processor configured to determine a visual metaphor representation for characterizing a degree of the health condition based on mapping information between components of the visual metaphor representation and types of the received biometric information, and transform the received biometric information into the determined visual metaphor representation, where the interfacing unit is configured to transmit the transformed visual metaphor representation to an external displaying device.

Abstract: An access point generates a beacon frame that carries a trigger frame information element comprising sending information of a trigger frame for indicating a sending period of the trigger frame; and sends the beacon frame. In this case, the station switches to an active state, and receives the trigger frame by listening to the channel, and the station performs uplink transmission according to indication of the trigger frame after receiving the trigger frame. In this way, when signaling overheads are not increased and reliability is ensured, a station can learn of a sending time of a trigger frame, and the station remains in a receiving state in an appropriate period of time.

Abstract: An image recognition accelerator, a terminal device, and an image recognition method are provided. The image recognition accelerator includes a dimensionality-reduction processing module, an NVM, and an image matching module. The dimensionality-reduction processing module first reduces a dimensionality of first image data. The NVM writes, into a first storage area of the NVM according to a specified first current I, ? low-order bits of each numeric value of the first image data on which dimensionality reduction has been performed, and writes, into a second storage area of the NVM according to a specified second current, (N??) high-order bits of each numeric value of the first image data on which dimensionality reduction has been performed. The image matching module determines whether an image library stored in the NVM includes image data matching the first image data on which dimensionality reduction has been performed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of quantifying miR-185 as a potential biomarker in lipid disorder or cardiovascular diseases in human. The present invention also provides a method of modulating miR-185 in regulating LDL and cholesterol metabolism in cells. The present invention has therapeutic potential in the treatment of cholesterol/LDL related cardiovascular diseases in humans.

Abstract: A kind of transmission method based on the learnable power model, which conducts periodic record for the historical change trend of the network. This method conducts weighting smooth processing on the round trip time and judges the changing trend of congestion control window. Then, it establishes model for the relationship between network power and the congestion control widow. When a new ACK is received, it immediately updates the window of power model. Finally, it forecasts the size of the congestion control window of the next time period by combining the congestion window and the network power changing trend. For the network packet loss or time-out events, the retransmission mechanism of traditional TCP is used, and when the packet loss ends, the power model process is used again. This invention reduces the influence of the network random events of the estimation error of traditional algorithm.

Abstract: A system includes a converter configured to be coupled between an energy storage unit and a grid and a control circuit configured to detect frequency and voltage variations of the grid and to responsively cause the converter to transfer power and reactive components to and/or from the grid. The control circuit may implement a power control loop having an inner frequency control loop and a reactive component control loop having an inner voltage control loop. The control circuit may provide feedforward from the inner frequency control loop to the inner voltage control loop to inhibit reactive component transfer in response to a voltage variation deviation of the grid due to a power transfer between the energy storage unit and the grid.

Abstract: A method for requesting an uplink scheduling is provided. In the case that there is an SR PUCCH resource established on a secondary cell, not an SR PUCCH resource established on a primary cell, and a special secondary cell is in a state of de-activation at the time of sending an uplink scheduling request, the uplink scheduling request is stopped and a random access procedure is initiated. If the uplink scheduling request can be sent on a plurality of cells at the same point of time, that is, if there are a plurality of uplink resources available for the uplink scheduling request at the same point of time, the uplink scheduling request is sent only on one of the plurality of cells (and using only one uplink resource).

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate obtaining two dimensional (2D) ultrasound images, using two or more ultrasound imaging modes or modalities, to generate 2D multi-parametric ultrasound (mpUS) images and/or to generate a three-dimensional (3D) mpUS image. The different ultrasound imaging modes acquire images in a common frame of reference during a single procedure to facilitate their registration. The mpUS images (i.e., 2D or 3D) may be used for enhanced and/or automated detection of one or more suspicious regions. After identifying one or more suspicious regions, the mpUS images may be utilized with a real-time image to guide biopsy or therapy the region(s). All these processes may be performed in a single medical procedure.
