  • Patent number: 9049610
Abstract: A timer for processing data blocks is proposed for a receiver of a mobile communications system. If the timer is not running, the timer is started based a data block. The data block has a sequence number higher than a sequence number of another data block that was first expected to be received. If the timer is stopped or expires, the timer is based on a highest sequence number of a data block among data blocks that cannot be delivered to a higher entity. The timer can be used to prevent a stall condition in mobile communications.

  • Publication number: 20140098117
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for rendering a plurality of primitives that includes at least two different types of primitives during the execution of a single draw call command. This disclosure also describes techniques for rendering a plurality of primitives using tessellation domains of different tessellation domain types during the execution of a single draw call command. The techniques of this disclosure may, in some examples, reduce the complexity and processing overhead for user applications, reduce the number of times that the rendering state of the graphics rendering pipeline needs to be switched during the drawing of a graphics scene, and/or reduce the number of times that shader programs need to be reloaded into different processing stages of a graphics pipeline during the rendering of a graphics scene.

  • Patent number: 8654648
Abstract: In the data transmission method of an HSDPA system according to the present invention, a transmitter transmits Data Blocks each composed of one or more data units originated from a same logical channel, and a receiver receives the Data Block through a HS-DSCH and distributes the Data Block to a predetermined reordering buffer. Since each Data Block is composed of the MAC-d PDUs originated from the same logical channel, it is possible to monitor the in-sequence delivery of the data units, resulting in reduction of undesirable queuing delay caused by logical channel multiplexing.

  • Patent number: 8506973
Abstract: The present invention relates to an injectable anticancer composition for local administration comprising hydroxychloroquine. The anticancer composition shows an IC50 value against sarcoma-180 cells, which is about 10 times lower than cisplatin, as determined by the MTT assay in vitro, suggesting that the anticancer composition has an excellent cytotoxic effect. Also, the anticancer composition shows dose-dependent effects against solid cancer induced by sarcoma-80 cells in vivo. In addition, the anticancer composition has the effect of extending the life expectancy of patients having ascites cancer induced by sarcoma-80 cells.

  • Patent number: 8400922
Abstract: At least one timer is used to prevent a stall condition. If a timer is not active, the timer is started for a data block that is correctly received. The data block has a sequence number higher than a sequence number of another data block that was first expected to be received. When the timer is stopped or expires, all correctly received data blocks among data blocks up to and including a data block having a sequence number that is immediately before the sequence number of the data block for which the timer was started is delivered to a higher layer. Further, all correctly received data blocks up to a first missing data block, including the data block for which the timer was started, is delivered to the higher layer.

  • Patent number: RE45102
Abstract: A method for re-transmitting data or control information in a radio link control layer relates to determining whether re-transmission will be ended by comparing a number of transmission with a critical value when the transmission of data or control information has successively failed. The retransmission cycle is comprised of the steps in the order of transmitting information, checking the transmission failure with exit, and counting the transmission number with exit. Therefore, the present invention makes any transmission be checked and prevents wasting radio resource which can occur in re-transmitting data or control information in UMTS mobile communication system.
