Abstract: A method for producing a prosthesis base (1) from plastic material for a full or partial dental prosthesis (2), in which the prosthesis base (1) has prosthesis base receiving openings (3) for artificial teeth (4) and is produced on based on a digital data set which reflects a shape of the prosthesis base (1) having the prosthesis base receiving openings (3). On the basis of this digital data set first a wax temporary prosthesis (6) having corresponding wax temporary receiving openings (7) for the artificial teeth (4) is made, and subsequently the prosthesis base (1) is made using the wax temporary prosthesis (6).
