    Abstract: A cyclone, in particular a cyclone collector and a cyclone classifier having an arrangement disturbing the gas-particle flow in the inlet area of the inlet casing or in the cylindrical part of the housing. This flow disturber effects a deflection and dispersion of the dense material flow, whereby improved separation, in particular of the finest particles, is facilitated without significant reduction damage of the powder collecting efficiency. The flow disturber can be a prism-type flow disturber, a flap of a blowing arrangement.
