An example system includes a healthcare service center having one or more computer servers and configured to remotely serve patients and healthcare providers. An example method is implemented at least by the healthcare service center and includes the steps of obtaining patient preferences concerning a language or a location of the healthcare providers, maintaining patient profiles, obtaining a request for a healthcare service from a requesting patient, selecting one or more of the healthcare providers using the patient preferences, enabling one or more of the selected healthcare providers to review and respond to the request, establishing a bidirectional communication between the requesting patient and the responding healthcare provider in real-time, and producing a diagnosis of the requesting patient and at least one of a digital diagnostic request, a digital therapy request, and a digital prescription.
