Publication number: 20230312025Abstract: The invention relates to a system for counteracting cabin vibrations in a cabin of a vehicle in motion. The system comprises a sensor for measuring a current lateral velocity of the cabin when the cabin is vibrating in the lateral direction of the vehicle, and a control unit configured to receive an input signal from the sensor, said input signal representing a value of the measured lateral velocity of the cabin. The control unit is configured to compare the value of the measured lateral velocity with a reference value and to transmit, based on the comparison, command signals for applying a torque to at least one of the wheels of vehicle. The invention also relates to a method for counteracting cabin vibrations when a driver is driving the vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2020Publication date: October 5, 2023Inventors: Anders LINDSTRÖM, Inge JOHANSSON, Sachin JANARDHANAN

Patent number: 8472422Abstract: A method and system for avoiding hanging Packet Data Protocol (PDP) contexts in a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) network. A time-out period is included in a request message to create a PDP context. The request message is transmitted from a first GPRS Support Node (GSN) to a second GSN. The second GSN receives the request message and transmits a response message to the first GSN. If the second GSN is unable to create the PDP context within the time-out period, the response message informs the first GSN that creation of the PDP context has been aborted. A Network Service Access Point Identifier (NSAPI) may be included in the response message so that the first GSN may request the second GSN to delete the request for creating the PDP context after a N3-T3 timeout of the first GSN has expired.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2011Date of Patent: June 25, 2013Assignee: Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson (publ)Inventors: Kaj Olof Inge Johansson, Per Svedberg

Publication number: 20120215930Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for enabling IP multimedia system, IMS, signalling traffic in a Policy and Charging Control, PCC, environment between a user equipment (21), UE, and a proxy call session control function (16), P-CSCF, device. The method comprises the following steps: 1. The UE (21) requests (10) in a gateway (17), GW, at least one P-CSCF device address for IMS signalling traffic between the UE (21) and the P-CSCF device (16). 2. The GW (17) sends (11) a request for a policy decision for the IMS signalling traffic to a first policy control node (22,23), PCN. 3. The first PCN (22,23) responds (12) to PCN. the GW (17) with policy information defining the policy decision for the IMS signalling traffic, 4. The GW (17) installs (13) the policy information and provides the P-CSCF device address/-es assigned to said information to the UE (21). What particularly characterizes the method is a step where the first PCN (22, 23) defines (14) the policy information for the IMS signalling traffic.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 22, 2009Publication date: August 23, 2012Applicant: TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L M ERICSSON (PUBL)Inventors: John Stenfelt, Kaj Olof Inge Johansson, Hans-Ake Lund

Patent number: 4235665Abstract: Method and apparatus for producing pulp from moisture-containing lignocellulosic material, such as wood chips, which is ground in a grinding space defined between a pair of grinding discs which rotate relative to one another in an environment of pressurized steam generated during the grinding process, in a closed housing. The ground fiber or pulp discharged from the grinding housing is propelled by the accompanying steam into a cyclone, where the ground pulp is separated from the steam for further treatment, while the steam is recycled for further use in the pulping process. The pressure in the cyclone is so controlled that a pressure is maintained therein which is substantially equal to a pressure drop which is sufficient merely to maintain the propellant force of the steam to convey the ground pulp from the grinding housing to the cyclone while discharging the separated steam and recycling it for further use in the pulping process.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 1978Date of Patent: November 25, 1980Assignee: American Defibrator, Inc.Inventors: Rolf Reinhall, Inge Johansson, Ake Sandstron, Anders Mukvist, Lars Elander

Patent number: 4204689Abstract: A sealing device is provided for shafts passing through the wall of a housing containing a pressurized medium of a pressure differing from that of the environment external to the housing. The sealing device includes at least one ring of packing or sealing material formed in at least one annular layer around the outer surface of the shaft. A nonrigid sleeve is mounted around the outer surface of the ring of packing material. The sealing device further includes a duct for providing a source of pressurized medium to the outer surface of the nonrigid sleeve. The forces exerted by the pressurized medium on the outer surface of the sleeve are transmitted to the layer of packing material enclosed within the sleeve so that the packing material is maintained pressed in a close sealing relationship with the outer surface of the shaft.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 1978Date of Patent: May 27, 1980Assignee: Defibrator AktiebolagInventor: Inge Johansson
