Abstract: Method for producing elastic tapes from a fabric web having at least partially synthetic fibers or filaments, especially a nonwoven fabric web, for use in the garment industry, one or a plurality of industrially produced webs (1, 2; 16) being laid on top of one another and at their open edges (3, 4; 5, 6; 18, 19) being joined to one another and a tube (11) being formed; and wall (21) of the tube (11) is cut open slantwise, so that a new, more elastic fabric web (22) is created, which is cut to tapes (25) in the longitudinal direction (26).

Abstract: The invention concerns the compounds of formula I wherein R1 and R2 independently are hydrogen, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl or alkyl; either the sulfamoyloxy side chain is bound to the 6 position; R3 is alkyl; alkenyl; alkinyl; a cycloalkyl moiety optionally substituted by alkyl, alkoxy or halogen; arylalkenyl; arylalkinyl; acyl; cycloalkylalkyl; 3-oxo-2-oxacamphanyl; or is 6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]hept-2-en-2-yl; and R4 is hydrogen; alkyl; hydroxy; or alkoxy; or the sulfamoyloxy side chain is bound to the 7 position; R3 has the significance indicated above for R4; and R4 has the significance indicated above for R3; X is O or S; and the symbol - - - is a single or a double bond; in free form or salt form. They can be prepared by sulfamoylation of corresponding hydroxylated compounds, by reduction and/or by N-substitution. They are indicated for use as pharmaceuticals, particularly in the prophylactic or curative treatment of illnesses responsive to steroid sulfatase inhibition.

Abstract: The invention concerns azole compounds of formula ##STR1## wherein the substituents have various significances, in free form or salt form.They can be prepared e.g. by acylation, or by aziridine or oxazole ring opening.The compounds can be used as pharmaceuticals, especially as selective inhibitors of the 25-hydroxyvitamin D3--hydroxylases in the treatment of disorders of proliferation and differentiation in vitamin D--responsive tissues.
