  • Patent number: 8505948
Abstract: The present invention comprises an arm structure adapted for a boat transportation carriage. The boat transportation carriage may include a first frame portion and a second frame portion, with a third frame portion adapted to interconnect said two frame portions. Said arm structure may include a vertical arm portion and a horizontal arm portion, with the lower portion of the vertical arm portion being adapted indirectly to to rest against a chassis of the boat transportation carriage and its frame portion for supporting vertical loads. Between the lower portion of the horizontal arm portion and the upper portion of said chassis or frame portion and in adherement to the vertical arm portion there rests a support plate having a supporting surface for supporting cooperation with the horizontal arm portion and this supporting surface is disposed within a chosen intermediate area of said horizontal arm portion.

  • Publication number: 20130056955
Abstract: The present invention comprises an arm structure (22, 22?) adapted for a boat transportation carriage (1), said boat transportation carriage being adapted to exhibit two elongated frame portions, a first frame portion (1a) and a second frame portion (1b), with a third frame portion (1c?) adapted to interconnect said two frame portions. Said arm structure (22, 22?) is adapted to exhibit on the one hand a vertically ex-tended arm portion (22) and on the other hand a horizontally extended arm portion (23), with the lower portion of the vertically extended arm portion (22) being adapted indirectly to be able to rest against a chassis (ā€œCā€) belonging to the boat transportation carriage (1) and its frame portion (1b) for taking up its allotted portion of the vertical loads, which are to be referred to the deplacement of a boat carried by the boat transportation carriage.

  • Patent number: 7300067
Abstract: A trailer adaped for a boat that includes a U-shaped chassis having wheels and a number of struts supported by the chassis and slings or the like oriented between struts coordinated in pairs is described. The slings support the boat by abutting against an outer surface of a boat hull. Also, the chassis may be formed by two flexurally rigid branches, each one turnably related and connected with a connecting part of a first end portion of each branch. Further selected struts may consist of one hydraulic piston-cylinder arrangement each. The piston-cylinder arrangements are hydraulically interconnected such that hydraulic oil may be distributed under an overpressure between the arrangements, in correlation with the rocking and/or rolling motion of the hull, including the twisting motion of the branches in relation to the ground and the twisting motion thereof in relation to the connecting part.

  • Publication number: 20040037646
Abstract: The invention includes a boat transporting arrangement (11) that utilises a frame construction with wheels related thereto and side-related pillar-like supports and one or more carrier straps or like devices disposed between said supports (11a) and adapted to hold a boat hull (B1). The frame construction is comprised of a number of individual units (11, 22) which are coupled together (31). Coupling of a first unit to a second unit affords flexural movement with a horizontal flexure line (31a′).

  • Patent number: 6612601
Abstract: A boat wagon adapted to be pushed or moved along an underlying wagon supporting surface includes two legs and a legs interconnecting member. The horizontal distance between the legs can be adjusted. The legs interconnecting member is formed of a number of removable elements adapted to co-act with each other. The span between the legs is adapted for road transport by removing one or more of the removable elements. The legs can be adjusted to adapt to a second span for boat transport by fitting one or more of the removed elements to wagon related and leg associated sub-parts.

  • Patent number: 4424872
Abstract: A truck exhibiting lifting devices intended for the lifting of loads and pairs of wheels located at a certain distance from each other and adjacent to said lifting devices. At a point mid-way between the wheels making up the pair of wheels is support wheel so arranged as to absorb some of the compressive forces acting upon the pair of wheels. The support wheel is so arranged as to be forced against a base by a device consisting of a hydraulic piston and cylinder. The pressure inside the device is controlled by the pressure inside a load-lifting hydraulic piston and cylinder device. The support wheel is pivotable or turnable in relation to the setting of the steering wheel.
