  • Patent number: 8684400
Abstract: A knee airbag (100) which is deployed between the vehicle occupants and a vehicle structure (2) and a gas generator (4) for filling the knee airbag (100) with inflating gas, wherein the knee airbag (100) has a base chamber (10) which is filled first with inflating gas, and at least one further upper chamber (20, 30) which receives the inflating gas conducted through the base chamber (10). A flow obstacle (12, 23) for the inflating gas is arranged between the base chamber (10) and the one or more upper chambers (20, 30). The one or more upper chambers (20, 30) is rolled up or collapsed and is secured in the rolled-up or collapsed state, the securing (21, 22) being designed in such a manner that it fails when a predetermined degree of filling of the base chamber (10) is reached.

  • Patent number: 8309875
Abstract: An apparatus for making bores in a turbine blade edge is provided. The apparatus includes a drilling device and a guide for the drilling device. The guide includes a bearing element with a gap which is delimited by bearing faces and has the shape of a turbine blade edge. Further, the apparatus includes two guide modules which lie opposite one another and are brought to bear with a side face of the turbine blade and which together form a tension device for fixing the guide on the turbine blade. Furthermore, a method for making bores in a turbine blade edge using such an apparatus is provided.

  • Patent number: 8123110
Abstract: A method in which no voids occur during the soldering processes is provided. A component with a soldering material is heated using a first temperature plateau for a first time duration such that the solder material is completely melted. Each subsequent heating is at a temperature plateau with a temperature that is lower than a temperature of the previous plateau.

  • Patent number: 7832620
Abstract: In soldering processes according to prior art, there is often an insufficient tie-up to a substrate of a component. A method in which no voids occur during the soldering processes is provided. A temperature pattern is proposed according to the method in which the temperature is lowered successively during the soldering operation.
