The springs are arranged in the interior of the modular distribution block and are formed from connection contacts 7, 8, using insulation-piercing terminal technology (insulation-displacement contacts) in the front and rear side of the block and from a telecommunications contact 22 in the central region. A pick-off contact 19 is formed in the front region of the contact spring 1. A distribution block of the generic type is provided which contains an uncomplicated contact element and on which the wire routing is improved and in which reliable fitting of the cable wires is ensured.

Abstract: A distribution block for telecommunication and data transmission applications, in particular for the main distribution frame of telephone and data lines. The distribution block includes insulation displacement contact elements for the connection of the subscriber cables as well as of the exchange office cables. One-piece contact springs are disposed in the interior of the modular-design distribution block. A mounting bracket, in particular for receiving distribution blocks is provided including a U-shaped tub. A device for guiding cables is rotatably moved in a partial section, and with cable guide portions. A reduction in size, an improvement of connection tasks, the individual protection of double wires, a reliable grounding and a cable guiding which is substantially resistant to buckling and bending are secured, is achieved by that one-piece contact springs disposed in the interior of distribution block.

Abstract: An automatic rearrangement and distribution device for telecommunication and data lines with connection terminals for exchange office and subscriber lines and a remote controllable connection device having a gripping element. To automate a re-arrangement and distribution device provided with connection blocks, the connection terminals are disposed in connection blocks radially directed relative to a central axis. The connection device is swingable in central axis, and a gripping element is disposed radially displaceably at the connection device. For connecting the rearrangement and distribution device to copper cables as well as to fiber-glass cables, without modifications being required, the control paths at blocks for fiber-glass and for copper cable applications have identical lengths.
