Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of generating a record of a call, the method, performed by a first device, comprising: performing a voice communications call with a second electronic device over a first communications channel; receiving and/or transmitting, during the voice communications call, call content data over a second communications channel; generating call details in dependence on the voice communications call; and generating a record of the call, wherein the record comprises the call details stored in association with the call content data. Advantageously, each generated call record provides an entry point to access data or to search information related to each call.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of transmitting missed call data following a failed call attempt, the method comprising a first device: transmitting, to a second device and over a first communications channel, a request to establish voice communications between the first device and the second device; receiving an indication that the request has not been accepted; prompting, in response to receiving the indication, a user of the first device to provide data for generating missed call data; receiving a data input from the user in response to receiving the prompt; generating missed call data in dependence on the data input from the user; and transmitting, over a second channel that is different from the first channel, the missed call data to the second device. Advantageously, a calling party is able to add information about a missed call to a missed call notification provided to a called party.

Abstract: A method for operating a terminal which can be used with a credit account with an account statement and/or with a subscriber's account with subsequent rendering of accounts with an account statement and which can be used in a mobile network which provides communication services. The terminal comprises at least one display device for the reproduction of information and at least one input device for the gathering of information. The account statement of the credit account and/or of the subscriber's account will be reproduced by the display device of the terminal at least after having made use of a chargeable communication service. After using a chargeable communication service by the terminal, a device of the mobile network sends a trigger message which contains information with respect to the costs of the used chargeable communication service to a server of the mobile network. The server realizes a push service, and then triggers a push message to the terminal using the information of the trigger message.
