  • Patent number: 9931019
Abstract: The invention relates to a tube assembly for an endoscope comprising a disposable tube that surrounds a working channel and preferably also a flushing channel and fixing means for fixing the disposable tube to the endoscope. Said fixing means have a fixing unit which is used to fix the disposable tube on the distal end of the endoscope in a rotationally and axially fixed manner. The endoscope fixing means also have a guide device which is used to displaceably fix the disposable tube on respective sections of the endoscope that are at a distance from the distal end of said endoscope.

  • Patent number: 6878106
Abstract: The invention relates to a deformable endoscope that has one or more light/image transmission passages and in which at least one additional instrument is provided, wherein the unit of endoscope and additional instrument has a non-round cross-section along a longitudinal section (insertion section) to be inserted into a human or animal body orifice. The light/image transmission passage or the plurality of light/image transmission passages form—in particular together with at least one work passage—a closed unit (fiberscope part) which can be separated from the additional instrument. The fiberscope part and the additional instrument can be displaced relatively relative to one another along their longitudinal directions. A holding unit is provided for the holding and/or guiding of the fiberscope part and the additional instrument relative to one another.

  • Patent number: 5107828
Abstract: Described is a tracheostoma closure device which has a valve (18, 23) which can be actuated at will be breathing out, to permit the patient to speak. The arrangement has an open tube portion (10) which can be introduced into the stoma and from which extends a passage stump portion (7) which leads outwardly through the stoma and which on its front side carries a housing (9) for the valve. An adjustable flange ring (8) for sealing off the stoma is carried on the passage stump portion (7). The valve is formed by a non-return valve flap (18) which is mounted pivotally in the valve housing (9) and which opens in the direction of breathing in and closes in the direction of breathing out when a predetermined flow speed is exceeded.
