  • Publication number: 20230191302
Abstract: A filter device of an air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle is provided. The filter device has at least one indicator device arranged in the filter device, the indicator device having at least one electrically conductive indicator material, the conductive characteristics of which vary in a manner dependent on the degree of loading of the filter device with filtered particles. Also provided is a motor vehicle having an air-conditioning system comprising the filter device, and a method for detecting the state of the filter device.

  • Patent number: 11325442
Abstract: A vehicle and method are provided for monitoring and changing quality of air in a passenger compartment of a vehicle so that the air quality remains above a predeterminable threshold value. The vehicle has an air quality sensing device and an air quality changing device. The method includes sensing the quality of the air in the passenger compartment and in the surroundings of the vehicle with the air quality sensing device; and in the event that the quality of the air in the passenger compartment of the vehicle drops below the predeterminable threshold value, changing the quality of the air in the passenger compartment of the vehicle with the air quality changing device so that the quality of the air in the passenger compartment rises above the predeterminable threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10518609
Abstract: The invention relates to an air outlet for a heating and ventilation or air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle, wherein the air outlet has a body defining an air discharge opening, over which at least one elongate louver extends, which is pivotable about a longitudinal axis. At least one electric or electronic display and/or operating element of the heating and ventilation or air-conditioning system of the motor vehicle is integrated in the at least one louver, wherein each display and/or operating element is carried by the louver and is substantially flush with a substantially flat surface of the louver.

  • Publication number: 20180370328
Abstract: A method for air-conditioning an interior of a vehicle to prevent fogging of the windows when at least one identifiable user enters the vehicle. The vehicle has a vehicle communication device which communicates with at least one user communication unit, a climate detection device for detecting the climate in the interior of the vehicle or for detecting the climate in the interior and in the area surrounding the vehicle, as well as a climate modification device for changing the climate in the interior of the vehicle. The method comprises steps of: checking by means of whether an identifiable user is approaching the vehicle, testing whether a fogging of at least one of the windows of the vehicle is to be expected when the user enters the vehicle, and air-conditioning the interior of the vehicle in such a way that fogging of the windows of the vehicle is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20170057324
Abstract: A motor vehicle ventilation device has at least one linear air duct which runs substantially horizontally inside a dashboard of the motor vehicle, and at least one air vent on the dashboard which is in fluidic connection with the at least one air duct. The at least one air vent is mounted moveably on the dashboard in the direction of the air duct. Means are provided which, independently of the selected position of the air vent, firstly maintain the fluidic connection between the air duct and the air vent and secondly keep the air duct closed substantially air-tightly outside the air vent.
